However, he was assimilated but I don’t know when because these tapes might not be in chronological order. Honestly I think he died in the first tape. He was noticed by the fake people and the end is pretty ominous, it rushes at him and the tape goes to static.

I think the one where they actually contacted the Iris was scariest but this still did a great and scary job. I guess it was just a normal Christmas Eve party at Moonlight Acres, which I believe made a deal with the aliens that every once in a while, the woodcrawlers could come feed on the campers. However, perhaps this Christmas, the camp’s owners didn’t abide their agreement, so the Iris sent monsters to feed by force. It was a regular party until the shaking and power outages started, and the cabin was broken into and everyone was eaten, except Jack Wilder, the one making the survival videos for us.
I have heard a theory b4 that the woodcrawlers relate back 2 nature’s mockery, or maybe even that nature’s mockery is producing these woodcrawlers as hallucinations. Relatively unlikely, but still possible, although nature’s mockery was only ever mentioned twice in the whole series

Theory:Mary isn’t a normal wood crawler, she isn’t being mimicked by one because they named the woodcrawler Mary. Jack was the one filming inside and outside. Alex was the one filming, but I figured out a major fact,they hate light thats probably their weakness, their nocturnal. In all shots with woodcrawlers being shown, the sun is setting or it’s night. Everything was fine in the cabin until someone turned the lights off therefor Mary the woodcrawler or whatever she turned into, then broke in the house and had a good Christmas dinner
Holy shit, this was the best one yet. With every camera switch the suspense grew. Once the camera started being in the house it climaxed and was overwhelmingly dreadful. Finally, the Mary casting at the end sent a shiver down my spine, to see what has happened. This is amazing, great job.
I like to imagine that the woodcrawler was smart enough to know what Santa Clause is and was trying to simulate reindeer on the roof to try to get people to come out.
I was born just four days before the Christmas Eve party, so my parents decided not to make the trip so my Mom could recover. I'm so happy my family had such a good time and decided not to scream. They're not particularly fond of screaming.
Everythings so merry during this season, I even put some cookies in front of the door and within an hour they were gone and the air smelled of warm meat!
Due to the slowness of the song in the intro, I managed to realize O Christmas Tree has the same few beginning notes as Here Comes The Bride. (I read the title, IDK why my brain jumped to Here Comes The Bride.)
I know I say this every time but THIS is the scariest one yet. GHE has come so far in just a year; I’ve been subscribed since episode 1 and it’s fascinating seeing GHE find their flow. And once again, the VHS documentary format does so much to strengthen the scares and suspension of disbelief. Other works of unfiction would have likely relied on lots of glitches when things start getting spooky. there’s a bit of that here, but only just enough that I attribute it to being ripped from a VHS tape that’s over 20-years-old. Such glitches and jump cuts make perfect sense since these are from published tapes rather than someone’s phone. Not to mention this one has a videographer yet still has a home video vibe. The scene transitions are great here and the animation looks so smooth, especially the one pulling its hand behind the cabin. Local 58 walked so GHE could run.
Jack Dean ... otherwise known as the guy from the SIV who slept for 3 days, and the guy who is with them now from the Monthly Progress Report, and he's also from the Artificial Computer Learning episode. Jack and Mary also have the same last name, so they are? were? either siblings or married. Also, a thing to note is that Jack's dream from SIV was of a well-dressed man, and in the Camp Information video, there was a bit about well-dressed men wanting entry. Who, or what, are the well-dressed men? Are they actual people from Regnad? Are they facsimiles made from or by the Woodcrawlers? Woodcrawlers are also weird. Are they the same things as Nature's Mockery? Is Nature's Mockery a single entity, or are there multiple? Are they what is fed when someone plays Feed the Woods? What is the ecosystem of the Garden?
I'm late, but like this channel is the perfect level of unsettling to were it is scarier than it actually is, the amount of effort that goes into this is insane.
God, the picture of the cabin is what haunts me the most. Because when the night is over and the screams die down, the sun rises once more, and the house is silent.
Little did this skinwalker know, this was clearly a feared SOUTHERN Christmas as shown by the cabin. Half the presents were guns. it was a bloody sight, for the skinwalkers of course. The beasts still fear the Southerners. Merry Christmas too all, as humanity is the dominant race.

Theory:Mary isn’t a normal wood crawler, she isn’t being mimicked by one because they named the woodcrawler Mary. Jack was the one filming inside and outside. Alex was the one filming, but I figured out a major fact,they hate light thats probably their weakness, their nocturnal. In all shots with woodcrawlers being shown, the sun is setting or it’s night. Everything was fine in the cabin until someone turned the lights off therefor Mary the woodcrawler or whatever she turned into, then broke in the house and had a good Christmas dinner

Holy shit, this was the best one yet. With every camera switch the suspense grew. Once the camera started being in the house it climaxed and was overwhelmingly dreadful. Finally, the Mary casting at the end sent a shiver down my spine, to see what has happened. This is amazing, great job.

I know I say this every time but THIS is the scariest one yet. GHE has come so far in just a year; I’ve been subscribed since episode 1 and it’s fascinating seeing GHE find their flow.
And once again, the VHS documentary format does so much to strengthen the scares and suspension of disbelief.
Other works of unfiction would have likely relied on lots of glitches when things start getting spooky. there’s a bit of that here, but only just enough that I attribute it to being ripped from a VHS tape that’s over 20-years-old.
Such glitches and jump cuts make perfect sense since these are from published tapes rather than someone’s phone. Not to mention this one has a videographer yet still has a home video vibe. The scene transitions are great here and the animation looks so smooth, especially the one pulling its hand behind the cabin.

Also, a thing to note is that Jack's dream from SIV was of a well-dressed man, and in the Camp Information video, there was a bit about well-dressed men wanting entry. Who, or what, are the well-dressed men? Are they actual people from Regnad? Are they facsimiles made from or by the Woodcrawlers?
Woodcrawlers are also weird. Are they the same things as Nature's Mockery? Is Nature's Mockery a single entity, or are there multiple? Are they what is fed when someone plays Feed the Woods? What is the ecosystem of the Garden?
I'm late, but like this channel is the perfect level of unsettling to were it is scarier than it actually is, the amount of effort that goes into this is insane.
