I recently cut my hair to a pixie cut and wanted longer hair. In this video, I'll be showing how I apply clip-in extensions to my short pixie cut to blend in as naturally as possible.

I use a "crew cut" to shave off relaxer damage. Trying to grow it back out to at least a couple inches so I can put the clip-ins in again.
I’m happy to find someone doing this that has ACTUAL short hair my hair is about 4in all over had to buzz it after it started falling out after medical treatments for an autoimmune disease thankfully my husband is supportive but I just wanna feel feminine again!

Thank you for this video! I decided to cut my hair short due to having hair lost from birth control pills along with stress. I had a full thick hair at the beginning to the middle of the year but by December 2022 I had long strands but they could barely make a proper bun. So with that I have restarted my hair growth journey, and I have a wedding to attend early next year and will definitely be getting hair extensions and refer to this video while I do it!

Very good job Wendy! I am impressed with your technique for really short hair. I'm 60 now and have started to lose hair right in the front at the hairline and I am so self conscious about my hair. I grew up with Italian mom and to her and my nana, your hair was priority! Lol, anyway, I've been using wigs too but I absolutely love the extensions and have learned very well how to manipulate them, regardless of hair length. (My hair is only top of shoulder length). About the little bulk in the back, try wetting a fine comb (like rat tail) and gently smooth that hair down, then spray the fine comb with Glue spray and smooth it down again and you may still need to spray a little on the final product but I have "patches" on my head where I have to really work to cover it. I've learned this by trial and error and hopefully you can try it with good results! Your extensions look beautiful on you and from experience I can say that having the darker hair is much easier to conceal those little areas than blonde. I bleached my hair for about 43 years, until 2 years ago, and use olaplex also on your extensions. That is 100% awesome product for both natural and extensions (and I've only had clip ins). You are very clever with placement of the extensions. I will need to practice when my extensions turn up and also have them shortened. I have just received a dreadful pixie cut (I had longish hair and requested long layers to shoulder length!!!). The "stylist" touted herself a senior stylist but clearly a fraud. After cutting the back to 1 inch layers from crown to nape, then in panic, even kept cutting trying to avert the disaster she knew she was creating. The front and sides had to be also cut off then to match the ugly back. There are gaps where scalp is showing thru and uneven chunks.. I look like an extra from a prisoner of war film. I am pretty devastated atm.
I’m thinking about investing in Bob length extensions during my grow out. I liked my pixie when I was getting it cut all the time but I’m ready to go back to my bob/lob and the grow out is so annoying!
It would be such a good idea to get bob/lob length extensions. It’ll look a lot more natural too 😊

Girly Ik your hair is probably long by now but if you tie it down with a bandanna it will lay flat!
It works better if you have 2-3 packs of extensions to use so you cover it all, especially the shorter your real hair is.

no you have to take them out if you want to wash them and it’s advised you don’t sleep in them either
They make clip In caps that go over the crown to blend better.
