I sure wish I was not allergic to my sweet angora bunny - the cat and dog absolutely loved him, too. I was mistakenly told that he was she, so Agnes became Angus before I returned him to the breeder. What a sweetie. I found that I could detangle his knots by gently working from the ends toward the skin. It was time-consuming but a great incentive to keep up with it regularly.

@@ligaskirbauska8652 Nice to hear, But being allergic to cats and dogs, yet okay with my own, makes the symptoms familiar. Having the cat, dog, and Agnes, the bunny, might have just pushed me over the tolerance limit. He lived inside the house and had newspaper in hisBernards

He will be a year old this summer some time. I had no clue what to do with him when he was dumped on me. The sad thing is I had trimmed a lot off of him. You seen the pic of him of how I received him lol. Great vid hun good to see Bun Bun again I will have to have you make me something out of his fur so I can always have a bit of him with me. But boy when he was dumped on me he was wilder than a march hair and would fight and claw and bite lol.

You did a great job with him! They have to be fully clipped every three months and it can be quite the chore...he got wet when he knocked over his water so that is why we had to clip him so quickly. In the end I did all of the savable fiber and we took him to a dog trimmer for his legs since it would stress him less just to have his legs clipped. It took five minutes to finish him up and he was much more comfortable. I think I will do the legs and belly that way every time!

    • @xanadu1jw

The soft undercoat of your GSD is very spinable. But the long outer guard hairs are not as spinnable. My GSD shed enough twice a year to make another dog practically.
