  • Fab Morvan of Milli Vanilli, Blame It On The Rain, Live
"Blame It on the Rain" is a song performed by the German dance-pop group Milli Vanilli.
It was released as a new track from the group's North American debut album, Girl You Know Its True (1989).
The act was packaged by Frank Farian in 1988 and consisted of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus as the lip-syncing performers with the two actual main studio singers, Brad Howell, John Davis and studio singers, Charles Shaw, Jodie Rocco, and Linda Rocco.
Rob and Fab signed a contract with Farian without having lawyers or managers in place, believing they would be singing on the tracks. They also recieved an financial advance which they couldn't afford to pay back.
Once they discovered the truth of Farians plans the contracts were signed and they were in debt to him with no way out.
Because of growing public questions as to who sang in the group, as well as Fab and Robs demand to Farian that they be allowed to sing on the next album, on 14 November 1990, Farian announced that he had fired them and confessed they did not sing on the records.
In 1997 Rob and Fab were to relaunch their careers with an album of their own material, however on the eve of the new album's promotional tour on 3 April 1998, Rob was found dead of a suspected alcohol and prescription drug overdose in a hotel room in Frankfurt, Germany.
His death was ruled to have been accidental.
Fab has continued to perform and release solo work.

You're welcome and thanks for watching Rosemary. The way those two boys were used and manipulated was almost criminal.
