As a long-time Breitling collector, with 3 Omegas in my collection, I cant stop wearing this 007 Edition.
I have the Milanese and Nato straps, and swap between the both.
My only criticism was the cost of adding the Nato strap!

Worth every penny. It's much better in person. Go try it on. Currently, the most exciting diver in the collection. Super light, but heavy enough to know it's there. With the slimmer case, it beautifully slides under the cuff. The titanium bracelet is comfortable and stunning. The NATO strap is also a must. Most likely your boutique won't carry it. I purchased the strap at an Omega store. This edition is a welcome deviation from Rolex (nothing there to compare). Extremely balanced and the domed crystal looks incredible, especially from certain angles. Omega at its finest.

  • @RS-jb1lf

Definitely on the Milanese bracelet all the way. I tried both models and both are super light, but also and as usual, I would most of the times suggest to purchase any high end time piece with its metal (whatsoever) bracelet rather than its original NATO or leather strap, unless obviously, comes either with these last 2 original/manufacture’s straps -you can further buy the OEM NATO and/or leather strap(s).
Lastly but not the least, great vid content including the commander’s inputs for the making of this unique watch for his last film in the 007 franchise, which definitely will make this time piece one of the most iconic divers in time.

As I own several automatic watches, I actually have come to appreciate the "no date". First of all it is a simpler, cleaner look. 2nd I do not have the hassle of setting the date when watch has not been in use, and 3rd I wear the watch more as "jewelry" than function - so if I need more than the time, I will just check my phone.
The original idea of leaving out the date is that a secret agent/Navy officer with a mission already knows the date, and the life and death info is the TIME. (No time to die ;)

Yes - I have this watch and that escape valve is just plain silly. I like this watch does not have "007" plastered all over the front/sides, and only very discretely on the back. I feel the same with the escape valve - no real function but to "show off", nobody goes deep sea diving with it and the valve can be hit away (like w Rolex) anyway - if they really think the watch need it.

In terms of specs it’s very similar to the Tudor Pelagos which costs considerably less and even has a matte ceramic bezel which I wish Omega had used for this model. Also with the Pelagos you get both a rubber strap and a very well made bracelet. In my opinion this watch shouldn’t cost more than 25% more than the regular Seamaster 300 does on a bracelet and and they should include both the nato and the bracelet for that price.

I got a Pagani homage for a fraction of the price, and it’s accurate to +2 seconds a day.

It's made of titanium which is much more expensive, it's amazing light, go try one on.

@@vijaymehra1101 that would be a deal breaker for me; I don’t like light watches.

Low grade titanium, aluminium bezel and false military attributions - all at 2 x the standard Seamaster price,. One for the biggest bond nerds only

Not a fan of mesh, I’m getting the NATO version. Picking it up today. Even though this piece is comparable in price to a Submariner I think its popularity and eventual discontinuance will make it a classic collectible. I own a circa 1997 Sub and an older “roulette date wheel” DateJust. Always been a Rolex fan. UNTIL I bought my first Seamaster 300. I now own a 41mm Seamaster 300, 45mm Titanium Planet Ocean 600M (LOVE IT) and a 41mm Aqua Terra with white teak dial. Omega, in my opinion, is a far superior timepiece. Rolex has gone down the millennial road with gaudy, tacky and over polished pieces.

Does someone knows where I can get a Nato strap with a similar pattern?

Is my favourite omega and with the nato only.. But if James bond wanted an undercover watch my view is why place 007 branding upon it!!!!!!

This is almost the best Seamaster had it not been for the faux patina and hollow sword hands. Until they get that sorted the reigning champ is still the Seamaster 2254.
