- Guys - we finally met! Amy Fritz, Kristen Hoffman and I were able to spend a few special days with one another, visit several HUGE antique stores and enjoy each others company! It was such a treat to meet these sweet, talented women in person and I really enjoyed this visit together.

This had to be the best trip ever for you three beautiful women. God has put you guys together for a purpose. I love all your laughter and the places you visited. The little B&B in the trees looks so cozy. I hope you are able to make an annual trip together. Women having close friendships are so important in life. You all seem to share the same values and goals for yourselves and your families. Maybe the husbands and children can join in on the trip one day; it would be a wonderful time for everyone. I love your new paint colour, your wood tables (gorgeous!!) and the rug. To me, the piano looks great staying the same colour. It’s a nice bit of contrast. Andrea, watching the other girls post you mentioned not being really for Fall, I’m so glad I’m not alone. I live in Southern Arizona and we are still having 100 degree weather. I still want late summer flowers, ice tea, lemonade and ice cream.

I found Kristen first, she pointed me to your channel and I will add Amy. I’m love bird houses, too. I’m so happy for you all. It’s healthy to have time with sweet friends while raising children. I had many close friends who lived in my community. During that season of my life (empty nester, my daughter is 39 & son 34) it was helpful to talk with other mom friends to pray, share ideas, swap clothes, etc etc. Thank you for letting me be a fly on the wall.

How delightful Andrea that you all got to get together. We have so many wonderful thrift and antique stores here in our state of Michigan. I can’t wait to visit the one in Baroda. It’s really not that far from home for me. I’m sure your visit with Amy and Kristen was wonderful. I began thrift shopping over 40 years ago with a friend from church. We became lifelong friends and have been able to share so much together through the years. It’s truly such a blessing when God himself orchestrates our friendships. And to have so much in common. I am So blessed to have school friends over 50 years that are to this day the same joy to be with. We support each other in the down times and in the good times.
