My first impressions of the Prelude Headphone Amp/Pre-Amp from Hifiman. 0:45... Details and specs. 7:22... Equipment used. 10:26... The Sound. 19:33... Bottom Line.
Finally ,, was waiting your review and impression , AudioGD M9 is also my reference amp and i need something as powerful as the M9 with smaller size,, Thanks and please take care of your hearing :)
As mentioned in Facebook, got this in October. I bought directly from a China seller I know at a much lower price. Everywhere online seems to say that HFM bought over GoldenWave but my understanding from China and Hong Kong sources are that it’s a collaboration on some of GoldenWave’s models. It weighs 7.5kgs, the words GoldenWave lights up when it’s turned on up. Throughout the unit, there only a small decal with Hifiman. I find it interesting that the whole circuit board is mounted upside down hence the XLR ports are upside down.
How warm is the amp? In the review you said it was quite warm. Have you tried the hekse with it? If one liked clear & bright would this amp be a poor fit or not warm enough to viel?
Nice one William. I guess HIFIMAN (Goldenwave) finally designed their own Amp to drive the Susvara properly/efficiently. Nice

One of my favorite channels thanks sir
This is my next amp, thanks for the review. I assume the HE-500 will sound nice and punchy on it as well.
This sounds very promising. I'm in the market for an "endgame" headphone amp after living with $600 amps for years, lol.
3 thumbs up!
cut from an aluminum block - wow - that's a solid casework
