- If you're a loyal fan of mine, you'll know that I have an "Unrequited Fantasy" video that is, let's face it, very depressing and doesn't give much hope for Penelope and Colin's relationship, even though I'm a big fan of theirs, as you can see. Well, this video is the exact opposite, sort of yang to the mentioned first video. It showcases how their love blossomed from the very beginning.
My friend and I have come across a few individuals on the social media who disparage Colin's character and don't believe in his love for Penelope. They find the Part 1 too quick, that he couldn't fall in love with Penelope so quickly after one kiss. Guess what? He's been in love with her for a very, very long time, he just didn't realize it and that's a hell of a difference. I hope this video will convince even the people who doubted Colin's love for Penelope, I really hope so. Enjoy and we will see each other at the next video.
PS: Yes, I used at the beginning voice-over from "Sleepless in Seattle", Tom Hanks is a legend.

the best summary of Colin. Bravo ❤❤❤❤ We all laugh and grumble at how Pen and her mother have different approaches to life which I think Pen has had to guide herself in this world. But remember Colin lost his father young and Edmund was not there to guide him. Don't get me wrong his mother Violet is my favorite character and knows all her children well. But Edmund's loss can be seen in all the sons. Colin has finally matured and has had his eye opened. P.s The T. Hanks opening is perfect for this couple.

Colin is a kind, caring and decent person despite the loss of his Father. Yes, he has his older Brothers… but there is still that space where his Father would have given advice or insight into his relationships, choices and direction.
No person or character is perfect, people get lost, find themselves... it's a journey.
I adore Violet too, she really sees her children.

She wanted a husband as did many woman of the time to find a bit of freedom for themselves .It was clear that no matter if she fails or not in doing so ,she was keeping that identity on front this season , independent of colin's help.2nd ly it may be because of the fear of him being oblivion for so long that i do need to see his lover side more .We have seen him noticing and being in awe of her and her thoughts in s1 to him being in love by saying 'you are special to me ' not a friend again at the end of s2.we have seen their pining and friendship,but both of them were never given agency to express the 'love' ,colin showed his love in ways of concern, protection and actually treating her as equal in friendship.maybe wrong but i just love the scene where he asks her about her purpose ,an underrated scene acc. To me simply because purpose for women was either defined by society or if it differed from that was simply not possible.but he asked her simply believing in the right that everyone has to dream ,something which makes u respect him unlike Anthony's speech in s2 ep1.on the other hand pen showed her love by understanding him ,words of affirmation.They both pined for each other ,but the thing is colin's help, protection was also facilitated by his status as a man ,so yes i do want to see him feel the pain of love as well ,not just the jealousy ,something which is not simply possibly but a choice which he has to make ,which we would see when whistledown will be revealed .Pen too never was given the chance to clearly show her 'love' , basically both of them actually enjoying and loving each other after knowing and confessing their feelings.may colin still be a gentleman after the reveal .😊😊and i've yet again made a very long comment 😂❤thanks for the edit again

Brilliant! Captured very well how complex Colin's personality and their relationship are. I believe some people are not being able to understand the depth of the construction of the characters and the whole storyline of this season.

Loved the edit,I have my exam tomorrow,watching it in the break time couldn't stop myself from commenting .The voiceover in the start is just amazing .I'll be honest at first I too thought that they are lacking an attraction this season or the season just feels different and was saddened by it but after a few rewatches,it made sense for every character to do what they were doing this season everyone was so changed yet logically and naturally.The thing with polin being that many questioned that it was the kiss that made him see like a wonan was not true ,and i was so glad for that ,she asserted her identity as a woman ,even though not successfully being the a confident one or basically like daphne and not being instantly desirable just because her new appearance which eventhough the fans wanted would have been a cliche not true for her character. But she asserted herself as a woman independent of colin's opinion on the matter ,she didn't ask him or waited for him to change it .She just couldn't keep going on repressing that
