പുതുക്കിയ വേഗപരിധിയും നിലവിലുള്ള വേഗപരിധി ബ്രാക്കറ്റിലും ചുവടെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു.
6 വരി ദേശീയ പാതയിൽ 110 കിലോമീറ്റർ, 4 വരി ദേശീയ പാതയിൽ 100 (90), മറ്റ് ദേശീയപാത, എം.സി. റോഡ്, 4 വരി സംസ്ഥാന പാത എന്നിവയിൽ 90 (85)കിലോമീറ്റർ, മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനപാതകളിലും പ്രധാന ജില്ലാ റോഡുകളിലും 80 (80), മറ്റു റോഡുകളിൽ 70 (70), നഗര റോഡുകളില്‍ 50 (50) കിലോമീറ്റർ എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് 9 സീറ്റ് വരെയുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ അനുവദിനീയ വേഗപരിധി.
ഒമ്പത് സീറ്റിനു മുകളിലുള്ള ലൈറ്റ് -മീഡിയം ഹെവി മോട്ടോർ യാത്ര വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് 6 വരി ദേശീയ പാതയിൽ 95 കിലോമീറ്റർ, 4 വരി ദേശീയ പാതയിൽ 90 (70), മറ്റ് ദേശീയപാത, എം.സി. റോഡ്, 4 വരി സംസ്ഥാന പാത എന്നിവയിൽ 85 (65)കിലോമീറ്റർ, മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനപാതകളിലും പ്രധാന ജില്ലാ റോഡുകളിലും 80 (65), മറ്റു റോഡുകളിൽ 70 (60), നഗര റോഡുകളില്‍ 50 (50) കിലോമീറ്റർ എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് അനുവദനീയ വേഗപരിധി.
ലൈറ്റ് മീഡിയം ഹെവി വിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ചരക്ക് വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് 6 വരി, 4 വരി ദേശീയപാതകളിൽ 80 (70) കിലോമീറ്ററും മറ്റ് ദേശീയപാതകളിലും 4 വരി സംസ്ഥാന പാതകളിലും 70 (65) കിലോമീറ്ററും മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനപാതകളിലും പ്രധാന ജില്ലാ റോഡുകളിലും 65 (60) കിലോമീറ്ററും മറ്റ് റോഡുകളിൽ 60 (60) കിലോമീറ്ററും നഗര റോഡുകളില്‍ 50 (50) കിലോമീറ്റർ ആയും നിജപ്പെടുത്തും.
സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് റോഡപകടങ്ങളില്‍ ഗണ്യഭാഗവും ഇരുചക്ര വാഹനങ്ങളായതിനാല്‍ അവയുടെ പരമാവധി വേഗപരിധി 70 കിലോമീറ്ററില്‍ നിന്നും 60 ആയി കുറയ്ക്കും. മുച്ചക്ര വാഹനങ്ങളുടെയും സ്കൂൾ ബസുകളുടെയും പരമാവധി വേഗപരിധി നിലവിലുള്ള 50 കിലോമീറ്ററായി തുടരും.
സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് എ.ഐ. ക്യാമറകൾ പ്രവർത്തന സജ്ജമായതിനെത്തുടർന്നാണ് വേഗപരിധി പുനര്‍ നിശ്ചയിക്കുവാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.
July 1 2023 മുതൽ പുതുക്കിയ കേരളത്തിലെ വേഗ പരിധി അറിയേണ്ടത് എല്ലാം All you need to know about kerala's speed limit revised from July 1, 2023
