The Perfect End to a Minecraft Day:
Getting back from a mining session
Your inventory filled with various ores under the Earth
Then walking back to your house just as the sun is setting directly behind it
As you admire its beauty, Wet Hands (39) begins to play
Inside your dog barks with excitement as you walk in
Just before heading to bed you watch the sun finally set through your window
This simple moment reminds you what Minecraft is truly about
Making your own adventure, in your own way
Designing your cubical house, just to fill it with junk
And for a moment there all your worries from life are gone
You feel at peace.
It's amazing how sometimes this game makes us feel, lonely but at the same time amazed about how free we are in it
sweden is more nostalgic. if you haven't heard it yet you 100% should
And then a creeper spawns in your
House...

This will sound super crazy, but whenever I listen to the minecraft music without actually playing the game,or I am playing it but not building anything, just hangin' out, I get EXTREMELY emotional about minecraft. One time, I even shed a tear. I just hope im not the only person who's crazy emotional about minecraft. Haha
Trust me, you're not
Nya S i get so emotional too its like sad thinking of all the memories you had with all the times you found something new. The music makes the memories like come to life again.
Not even close, when enjoying yourself while the music is playing, that emotion can get tied to the music, plus the music is emotional in the first place. So the next time you here it, the emotions can be resummoned. Me heart starts racing if I just listen to Skyrim combat music without actually playing.
You're not.
I fall into a trance and start daydreaming about the good I'm days, when my little brother wasn't so annoying. We had fun, in various worlds, our imaginations built anything. Now everything's a mess. I'm busy with education, taking care of family, work. I also shed a few tears, even right now.🙂
Minecraft: Imperfect in so many ways, yet perfect in every way. So simple, yet so complicated.
bro might wanna retake poem class
Get a degree in Poetry next time, amateur.
Why y'all gotta hate? You could have just scrolled past and left it at that
Also, you have to look for the meaning. Imperfect: bugs, glitches.
Perfect: perfect for that moment in its peaceful appearance.
Simple: The pixelated, blocky appearance.
Complicated: There are no limits. You can build anything your imagination yields.
Quit your hating and look for the symbolism the problem is the reader not the writer

Actually crying thinking of my first world and how simple life was back then
You're not the only one... my first Minecraft world was on a HP Notebook that ran no higher than 15 fps. It eventually blue screened and the hard drive also became corrupt. Never to be seen again. Life was simple, and only getting simpler in these worlds of our own. You could spend hours mining with the only worry being food, not whether you can get back or how long you had been down there. Now, you have to plan next to anything... Because one night to many in a mine and you have phantoms on your butt and god only knows what else. Everyone's first world, nay their first night, will always be the best.
I deleted my first world, never thinking i'd be back on it again...

V3 is probably going to be at least 11 hours long once the 3rd album appears. Jesus christ.
Edit: I never really thought about this until just now, but once Minecraft: Volume ????? comes out with new songs, the chances of any one song playing will be significantly reduced, making moments even more special and rare. It'll be sad to hear the original songs less, but it will feel great once they do play.
That's the best part

Four years ago, I got Minecraft by accident. I was 9 years old and I was afraid of almost everything in the game. I was playing in Beta 1.9 Prerelease. I discovered a survival guide and followed it. I switched to version 1.8.8 and beat the Ender Dragon. Then, back in 2017 I made a city in Minecraft. I became a CZcamsr. My city dissapeared randomly in June 2017 and got back as random as it dissapered in February 2018. Thats whole 10 monts! I contined until August 2018 when my launcher broke down. It took 3 months to fix. The version was 1.13. Aw man, I miss the old days. Now 1.15 is on the corner with new features and Pewds started playing Minecraft again. I think its safe to say Minecraft will never be the same again as it was 4 years ago.
I cant choose which minecraft is better. The old and nostalgic one, or the new and hopefull one? I grew up with memories too but minecraft has to evolve.
Why does everyone kill the ender dragon? It's just trying to live its life.

same.
I see the player you mean.
PLAYERNAME?
Yes. Take care. It has reached a higher level now. It can read our thoughts.
That doesn't matter. It thinks we are part of the game.
I like this player. It played well. It did not give up.
It is reading our thoughts as though they were words on a screen.
That is how it chooses to imagine many things, when it is deep in the dream of a game.
Words make a wonderful interface. Very flexible. And less terrifying than staring at the reality behind the screen.
They used to hear voices. Before players could read. Back in the days when those who did not play called the players witches, and warlocks. And players dreamed they flew through the air, on sticks powered by demons.
What did this player dream?
This player dreamed of sunlight and trees. Of fire and water. It dreamed it created. And it dreamed it destroyed. It dreamed it hunted, and was hunted. It dreamed of shelter.
Hah, the original interface. A million years old, and it still works. But what true structure did this player create, in the reality behind the screen?
It worked, with a million others, to sculpt a true world in a fold of the [scrambled], and created a [scrambled] for [scrambled], in the [scrambled].
It cannot read that thought.
No. It has not yet achieved the highest level. That, it must achieve in the long dream of life, not the short dream of a game.
Does it know that we love it? That the universe is kind?
Sometimes, through the noise of its thoughts, it hears the universe, yes.
But there are times it is sad, in the long dream. It creates worlds that have no summer, and it shivers under a black sun, and it takes its sad creation for reality.
To cure it of sorrow would destroy it. The sorrow is part of its own private task. We cannot interfere.
Sometimes when they are deep in dreams, I want to tell them, they are building true worlds in reality. Sometimes I want to tell them of their importance to the universe. Sometimes, when they have not made a true connection in a while, I want to help them to speak the word they fear.
It reads our thoughts.
Sometimes I do not care. Sometimes I wish to tell them, this world you take for truth is merely [scrambled] and [scrambled], I wish to tell them that they are [scrambled] in the [scrambled]. They see so little of reality, in their long dream.
And yet they play the game.
But it would be so easy to tell them...
Too strong for this dream. To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
I will not tell the player how to live.
The player is growing restless.
I will tell the player a story.
But not the truth.
No. A story that contains the truth safely, in a cage of words. Not the naked truth that can burn over any distance.
Give it a body, again.
Yes. Player...
Use its name.
PLAYERNAME. Player of games.
Good.
Take a breath, now. Take another. Feel air in your lungs. Let your limbs return. Yes, move your fingers. Have a body again, under gravity, in air. Respawn in the long dream. There you are. Your body touching the universe again at every point, as though you were separate things. As though we were separate things.
Who are we? Once we were called the spirit of the mountain. Father sun, mother moon. Ancestral spirits, animal spirits. Jinn. Ghosts. The green man. Then gods, demons. Angels. Poltergeists. Aliens, extraterrestrials. Leptons, quarks. The words change. We do not change.
We are the universe. We are everything you think isn't you. You are looking at us now, through your skin and your eyes. And why does the universe touch your skin, and throw light on you? To see you, player. To know you. And to be known. I shall tell you a story.
Once upon a time, there was a player.
The player was you, PLAYERNAME.
Sometimes it thought itself human, on the thin crust of a spinning globe of molten rock. The ball of molten rock circled a ball of blazing gas that was three hundred and thirty thousand times more massive than it. They were so far apart that light took eight minutes to cross the gap. The light was information from a star, and it could burn your skin from a hundred and fifty million kilometres away.
Sometimes the player dreamed it was a miner, on the surface of a world that was flat, and infinite. The sun was a square of white. The days were short; there was much to do; and death was a temporary inconvenience.
Sometimes the player dreamed it was lost in a story.
Sometimes the player dreamed it was other things, in other places. Sometimes these dreams were disturbing. Sometimes very beautiful indeed. Sometimes the player woke from one dream into another, then woke from that into a third.
Sometimes the player dreamed it watched words on a screen.
Let's go back.
The atoms of the player were scattered in the grass, in the rivers, in the air, in the ground. A woman gathered the atoms; she drank and ate and inhaled; and the woman assembled the player, in her body.
And the player awoke, from the warm, dark world of its mother's body, into the long dream.
And the player was a new story, never told before, written in letters of DNA. And the player was a new program, never run before, generated by a sourcecode a billion years old. And the player was a new human, never alive before, made from nothing but milk and love.
You are the player. The story. The program. The human. Made from nothing but milk and love.
Let's go further back.
The seven billion billion billion atoms of the player's body were created, long before this game, in the heart of a star. So the player, too, is information from a star. And the player moves through a story, which is a forest of information planted by a man called Julian, on a flat, infinite world created by a man called Markus, that exists inside a small, private world created by the player, who inhabits a universe created by...
Shush. Sometimes the player created a small, private world that was soft and warm and simple. Sometimes hard, and cold, and complicated. Sometimes it built a model of the universe in its head; flecks of energy, moving through vast empty spaces. Sometimes it called those flecks "electrons" and "protons".
Sometimes it called them "planets" and "stars".
Sometimes it believed it was in a universe that was made of energy that was made of offs and ons; zeros and ones; lines of code. Sometimes it believed it was playing a game. Sometimes it believed it was reading words on a screen.
You are the player, reading words...
Shush... Sometimes the player read lines of code on a screen. Decoded them into words; decoded words into meaning; decoded meaning into feelings, emotions, theories, ideas, and the player started to breathe faster and deeper and realised it was alive, it was alive, those thousand deaths had not been real, the player was alive
You. You. You are alive.
and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the sunlight that came through the shuffling leaves of the summer trees
and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the light that fell from the crisp night sky of winter, where a fleck of light in the corner of the player's eye might be a star a million times as massive as the sun, boiling its planets to plasma in order to be visible for a moment to the player, walking home at the far side of the universe, suddenly smelling food, almost at the familiar door, about to dream again
and sometimes the player believed the universe had spoken to it through the zeros and ones, through the electricity of the world, through the scrolling words on a screen at the end of a dream
and the universe said I love you
and the universe said you have played the game well
and the universe said everything you need is within you
and the universe said you are stronger than you know
and the universe said you are the daylight
and the universe said you are the night
and the universe said the darkness you fight is within you
and the universe said the light you seek is within you
and the universe said you are not alone
and the universe said you are not separate from every other thing
and the universe said you are the universe tasting itself, talking to itself, reading its own code
and the universe said I love you because you are love.
And the game was over and the player woke up from the dream. And the player began a new dream. And the player dreamed again, dreamed better. And the player was the universe. And the player was love.
You are the player.
Wake up.
Alright any questions for what this means?
y’all i just cried

Thanks for writing this it’s been so long since I’ve seen these beautiful words
LunarChaos did you send this at 4 am?
I also can't express how grateful I am that this has the ingame dry hands version. It's always bothered me that I barely find it anywhere.
I'm glad someone appreciates it, because it caused this video to get copyright striked. Not by C418 or Microsoft, but by someone who made a song that copies a part of "Dry Hands", therefore automatically copyrighting this video. The song is called DreadNone "Club Peso" just so you know. If anything THAT song should get copyrighted by C418... sorry for ranting to you btw
@@SeaOfPixels Nah it's alright. Yet another instance of CZcams's mess.
A Homosapien I appreciate that too
@@SeaOfPixels holy shit. Zero shame. It's not even subtle. It's just a higher pitch with rap slapped on it. I'm mad now
@@SeaOfPixels i got copyrighted for the same reason.

@@bindstf2 I just love playing minecraft and listening to minecrafts soundtrack. C418 has done a fantastic work with minecrafts soundtrack.
Time stamps are up!
My mum said I could watch one more video.
And one more song.
Man this brings back the good old days
Listening to this soundtrack makes me cry out of joy. I had a perfect childhood thanks to this game. I still play it today, even before it's renaissance. But the impact of listening to it separately from the game really does hit me. I miss my childhood. At least I can still relive it through this game : )
Its strange in my 6 years i have never heard some of these songs like, excuse, are they unused? if so thats really sad they are incredible...
A lot are album exclusives, the minigame music is exclusive to console, and the underwater songs (axolotl, shuniji, dragon fish) are pretty hard to hear if you don't go underwater for long periods of time. I too wish they were ingame.
@@ahomosapien54 true, i recognize where the minigame exclusives are from, and have heard the underwater, but there are a bunch that should be in the game yeah
Honestly never heard these I’ve played on pocket edition for like 3 years

@@souwurfe sorry it's been a few years since I've played. Last time I played I remember them talking about storage limitations
I was digging in a cave once and some Minecraft music I had never heard starting playing. Have been playing for four years.
beauty of it
bruh the person who disliked this must have been like "i am a good person"
I dont play minecraft since 1.6, after hearing the song of the credits a tear escaped me, i need to play this game again.
a lot has changed since 2013. you might want to hop on again:)
Lucas Mujica make sure to use the old textures!
I love how in “intro” you hear the man walk in themselves and hear them like you’re in the studio, and was such a good feature for such a beautiful song like it.
I'm pretty sure C418 just recorded it wherever he lived at the time. Not sure though.
A Homosapien I think that was added intentionally, considering the static right before the walking.
Chris, Clark, and Danny are a survival player's best friends.

11?
Which one
@@DarkerJam the broken and scary scary one with black in the middle
So 11 wasn't made by C418? I saw a spectrogram of 11 featuring Steve's face and "1241", which is C418 in a cipher I don't remember
I recently got my first ever conduit and when I was diving with its effect I heard the underwater soundtrack and oh boy, it's so epic! I went down a ravine with magma blocks at the bottom and the bubbles pulled me down and I went through underwater tunnels...it was the first time in quite a while that minecraft impressed me like that, oceans are now epic and it's an event to dive, so beautiful
gosh, minecraft soundstracks are the best, they are giving me emotions each time i listen to them. it's incredible, thank you C418
FINNALY! I feel like I would never find the in-game version of dry hands! Thank God it's in here.
I gotchu
I still play (2011 and still going baby!) so this hits me with a different kind of nostalgia then other people. Since I still hear these songs regularly this hits me hard because it really makes me think on how much this game has changed my life (for the better) and how many amazing memories I’ve made and will make playing this game. I’ve never really thought about how much my life has been changed by this game and all the people I watched play it while I did as a kid. (Stampy and Squid I’m looking at you!) I love this game and always will. Thus I would like to thank Notch, Jeb, Mojang, 4J, and of course C418, thank you for shaping my childhood.
I always forget how beautiful Intro is until I hear it again.
Listening to these music, it remind me of my childhood :,) i wish i could forget everything so i can play Minecraft again...
Even more of this crazily beautiful music! It's crazy to think that I've already been playing this game for almost 10 years now...Glad the music stayed the same throughout all of that time :)
Panimioul I feel you man, I played it when it first released and I’m also glad the music hasn’t changed:)
c418 : simplicity
Gareth Coker; epicness
Markus Persson : ????
My favorite type of music is that one heard only in creative mode (Blind Spots, Haunt Muskie, Aria Math, Taswell, Biome Fest, Dreiton)
Thx for the new one. Love you for releasing it. A 7-year minecraft player thanks to the best minecraft music releaser.

Industrial Quarter sounds like Mother Horse Eyes tbh
But imagine finding the Markus Persson disc in the wild-
cool now i don't need to change songs for an entire school day
Thanks for this new version !!
Beautiful. Thanks for posting :^)
At least one of the battle themes could totally have been the Ender Dragon boss music.
Battlemode 2 I think suits it well, especially because it has the melody of "Alpha" within it, which is the song that plays during the credits after defeating the dragon.
this is so great!!! I appreciate someone taking the time to compile all the most wondrous music into one soundtrack!!
IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR THE PAST MONTH THANK YOU SO MUCH
You should also add the music for the mythology texture packs on console ex. greek, roman, norse, Chinese) and stuff like that in v3..
That's the plan!
Let's be honest: Minecraft is one of the best games. I mean: the music alone is super great! When I first started Minecraft, the music was the first thing I really noticed. When I heard that on the home page, I knew it was a great game. And I was right.
I have been looking for these minigames soundtracks for a long time
Thank gof it's here. Thanks for uploading them!

I listen to the entire video at least 10 times in just last week doing all sort of things. So glad I can have some quiet and peaceful time at work.
it's sort of humorous how much Gareth Coker's tracks differ from C418's ambient tracks.
I don't like them, they don't feel true to Minecraft
Check out his other works, such as Ark's or Ori and the Blind Forest's osts. They are good :D
All of the music is like a wind of memories blowing past you and it feels so beautiful but when its gone everything feels so empty
Hi. I just want to say thanks again for uploading this. Listening to this really helps me do my homework during stressful times
ooh thanks man . i was searching for the first music all over and over for at least 2/4 hours . being hopeless this was my last attempt to search the music and , what a luck i got it . i can't express how lucky i feel . thanks a lot .
Minecraft...a legend
Thanks for the update!
Now I can listen to the parts of the soundtrack I’ve never heard
Awesome! Thank you for updating this!
This playlist is amazing, the songs aren't in your face and loud, its perfect for just playing a casual game. Its like its not even there because you're having so much fun in the game, but when you listen to it by itself its incredible. This brings back so many great memories when I was a little kid, when I first discovered this game. Good job c418
Congrats on the new milestone! Just got back from trip, enjoying the music with one of my pugs =)
I never thought I'd hear the minigame themes again.
Thanks for updateing.

I can just remember how I mined a diamond block with a wooden pic in the Xbox tutorial world.
Ahhhh the good old days
I literally hear this music in school, while doing work, while reading, while defusing a bomb. The music makes me calm, and for some reason, that is really hard to do. Let's go Minecraft, epic chill.
Woww these song are amazing. Every night i hear them. And also good thumbnail!

I'm so happy you included the minigames music.
That last song genuinely made me cry. So many memories attached to Minecraft.
It was 9 years... I can't even play minecraft it doesn't make me smile like back then good old times. Second game i ever played in my life and I will NEVER forget about you. Maybe one day I will get that fun which it gave me when I was 8-14 Rest In Peace. New generation should at least consider playing this game It's something they never experienced Something like a Second Life. It will teach you more than you think. Think about that not in the way you are playing the game. Think about it like a movie when you are the director. You can make everything. As a boy I was kinda shy guy well making sometimes hard decisions in minecraft cured it and these days I still need to thank Minecraft for its help. Now I have girlfriend and a bunch of friends Minecraft for me is Past. I hope not forever.
This Game makes great women and men out of young kids
Great Job Minecraft, I will always remember you

Man Gareth Coker makes good music too! Everyone talks about C418 but this guy does really deserve some well earned prise.
Don't bother me, I'm crying
My favorites are Haunt Muskie and Aria Math
There's something really special in C418's music. It's the epic work of a genius. Never knew that music from a video game could be that epic and beautiful.
