    I love how honest you are about this. Even what could be better. I.e. Fuel/oil... I want more information, but I believe I will be wanting one for my current project. And I don't have to void the warranty to find out what is s really in my vehicle! 👍

      I think efi conversions has a 24x 1x conversion for the opti spark. Then you can modify a jackpot harness to fit that unit.

    Thanks for the breakdown, seriously been researching these efi for my 68fastback. Royal flush really gives you the best features for the buc,. Only thing holding me back is long term support but knowing how they work internally really helps.

      Royal flush is a unit. Has the same throttle body but with the added bonus of a built in cdi box with a 2step input and a rev limiter. I just did a killshot install video I could swap harness and ecu and make it a Royal flush video real quick. In my next video it’s a full install and test drive. Long as crap

    I have been looking at Aces sites and other videos. Finally, 3:55 into this video the question of how much boost this unit is capable of managing is answered when you state it is a 3 bar MAP. THANKYOU!

    I love that the kit includes a coil and distributor for sb Mopar. I plan to pick one up this year for my Mopar rebuild and im excited to break in my engine with it.

    Sold me, I have a killshot system sitting here with me now waiting to go on a 1982 K20 truck with a clean rebuilt 350 this month, with all new tanks and fuel system it should be nice, with flexibility to use more features at a later time..

      Better injector clips on these and my ecus on my projects are great. Don’t mean a few won’t go bad over the years but they use better chip sets and are remote so no heat

      It does not loose memory if disconnected. I just put my deuces wild on last night and it still has the same tune in it. Where are you seeing the setting reset at.

      Make sure you are not loosing 12v between the on position of the key and start. If it does the ecu thinks you went key off and on so the fuel in there will fire up but then die out. As a test put your 12v switched wire to the positive side of the batt and start it. If it stays running your good just remember you have to disconnect your 12v switched to turn it off during testing.

    Are there instructions on how to use killshot on a supercharged application? I have a 350 sbc with a Weiand 177 SC that puts out 570hp. Thank you for the video, definitely interested in the Killshot

      I will be making a video at some point about how to scale the tables for boost. And with a draw through sc you will have to refer to the manual for putting the plug in the bottom and installing the boost reference barbed fitting. Nothing too bad you will have to use the laptop tuning software to get it dialed in. Or should I put a single turbo on my camper?

      Exciting. Take your time on the install and make sure everything is correct. 80% of running issues from aftermarket efi units is install related. I see most issues with bad timing causing fuel issues and idle stability problems. Look for injection pulse to be around 2-3 and iac with engine up to temp at about 10-20 steps.

      I had that issue when I had a fuel pressure sensor plugged in. Or when the hh software did not match the ecu. Go into settings and update ecu and see if that helps. Also I will put that in a video soon.

    Great videos, AE1006 injectors are 160lbs vs AE 1004 are 1000lbs per hour per hour right?
    Who sells them?
    Does Aces and Holley use the same type of injectors?
    A friend of mine was asking and wondering about FITech as well?

    Does the hand held touch screen have to be hooked up at all times for this to work and run?
    Where can I find these kits at? I've never heard of it before, but I have a 383 SBC that's going in a 85 Monte Carlo SS that should make around 450-475 hp. I need a carb anyways, so this seems simple enough.

      Naw you can get the tune or the self learning done and turn off the o2 sensors and unplug the Hand held. Most of my videos I use the same two hand held screens over and over again.

      When the e85 update is released you will be able to change the injector size. It’s currently locked at 100. Currently for killshot it take engineering level software to make that change.

      They may do progressive at some point. But mine runs good without going crazy.

    Only thing i don't like about this unit is that it doesn't appear you can run a 14-inch drop base air cleaner. If it was more in the shape/style of a 4150 mech secondary carb, it would be better, IMHO

    So I need the Deuces Wild unit but cannot get an answer from ACES. Called 3 times. 1) can i run the FPS shown in above video with the 2bbl version. 2) is there a Ford C6 kick down kit or does the Deuces kit come with C6 transmission hardware?

      They are not open on the weekends or after 530 est. it does not come with linkage hardware but the throttle linkage is kinda one of those universal types where if you have the connecting hardware you can make it happen. The deuces wild does have the fuel connector. The new software seems to have the display option for fps and they will also have a gps handheld out soon.

      Not recommended really. If you was might try it with a diode or something. There will be a 0-5v output in the future for these

    I own a 1990 Squarebody Chevy Suburban with a blown motor that i will be replacing with a fully rebuilt 350 SBC of the same year range. For the new motor I am considering doing away with the the original stock EFI system and putting an Aces Killshot in it. My only concern is i believe it currently has an electronically controlled transmission from the factory. Is the Killshot compatible with electronically controlled transmissions? or would extra hardware be required to ensure the proper function of the trans?

      You will need a trans control. They have one for the 4l60e and 80e under development. Should be out some time. I kind of hope to get the chance to test it. We will see and of course I will make a video about it.

      Time for some multiport injection hoss cat. I just tested the new generation joker multiport kit from aces. The tb on it does 1000 cfm and works with ev6 pico injectors. I should have a video of the install up in the next month.

    old video hopeful too get a response, on my instructions page 14 -2.5 it just says boost reference port and shows the nipple for the vacuum line and the plug by the throttle blades. From what you said for my turbo blow through i should leave those alone from how they came with a plug in the vacuum port and the plug not installed? currently i have it installed only as it didn't mention draw through or blow through. now im hoping it didnt cause any issues.

      In the out of the box configuration it is good to go for blow through. Just need to use the tuning cable and software to rescale the fuel map.

    I’ve put a 4 barrel kill shot on my 2.2 Toyota 1976 hilux but it’s a 2 barrel manifold. Should it still work ok ?

      It will have a bunch of air and fuel but you should be able to tune it down to that. The deuces wild is their 2bbl unit. Good up to 350hp install and tuning is the same other than the 2300 flange

      I am fixing to put a super charger on the black Chevy. Yeah you can go blow through or draw through. It has a 3bar maps sensor you will need a tuning cable and scale the maps for boost. That is in a up coming video

    I don't know much about vehicles, but I am interested in upgrading from a carb to EFI. I've basically only seen good reviews about the Aces stuff. I have an 82 cj7 with the 4.2l. What setup would you recommend? My primary goals are better fuel efficiency and not dealing with cold start issues and tuning a carb.

      If you don’t plan for 5k rpm’s or higher you can make a deuces wild work pretty good on that unit. Make sure to get the tuning cable and you will be able to go through a good basic tune for getting that fuel just perfect.

      You should adjust your throttle blades open some more to lower your iac value then zero your TPs.

      I remember reading about that in college. Really takes me back. Can you give a better example of how that applies to the disassembly and slight modification of this unit should I try to warranty a not as manufactured item.

    Cannot void warranty even if they put it in writing. Magnuson/Moss Act counters it. If they can prove you actually damaged something by disassembling it, then they might have a valid void. Otherwise, you as the consumer, can tear it apart all you want.

      Kinda. There is a lot of flexibility in Magnuson/Moss. I found out when I was taking law before I went engineering that it does not offer as much protection as a person would think. Especially in modern times.

      It does not have a built in trans control. There is one for gm 4l60/80e and I think for will be a thing later in the year

      It’s a 4150 style flange tbi system I think that engine has a 2bbl setup. The aces 2bbl is a 2300 style flange.

    Why does my map sensor read 11.4 when it should read approx 75 I’m at 6700 feet above sea and after watching the video the map sensors inside the machine so I’m gonna have to open it to find out what is going on which basically will cost me $1300

      Ah the 11.4 is in psi. For that pressure in kpa it calculates to about 78 kpa. Same same. Also your BAP should read nearly the same.

    Please help. 4.3 v6 with turbo new 340 lph pump 48 psi no vacuum leaks it was running then dying now it revs to 2400 and shuts off

      Make sure you have enough fuel pump and your timing is good. I have seen a few people keep the timing locked in the handheld and it cuts out at about 3k

      If you got the flange. The boost is fine for that but make sure to do a good install and get the tuning cable with it to scale the tables.

      Yes, and forgive me, I have no complaints against you, because I understand that all the warranty periods have passed, I just want to set up for 3 weeks (three!) and understand HOW the system should work! (all this time the car is in other people’s workshops and not for free) and you tell me “tomorrow” but three days later you ask for the order number... ask Josh, we corresponded with him in December 2022. I can repeat my problems:
      1. after 20 minutes of operation, KillShot refused to start the engine (it gave an impulse for a spark, but the TBI fuel dropped) I had to connect the Black Jack and the engine started
      2. The KillShot monitor initially showed all zeros, including when the engine was running, and then went out completely...
      3.       That’s a Coke vs Pepsi thing there, I have installed both. MSD has 80lb injectors killshot 100lb injectors so higher hp rating there. Both do timing control. Both remote mount ecu, both have a HH display but the new killshot hh will have a built in gps module soon. Both use the Bosch 4.9 lsu o2 sensor but the leg up on the killshot is the 32bit processor and the cj125 wideband controller chip so faster self learning. Both easy install with just a few wires and easy setup. 500 dollar price point difference is the big seller for me. But most aftermarket units if installed and adjusted correctly do a fine job.

    They make these efi units sound soooo good until they are not then its the wiring, its a vacuum leak, your alternator is not good enough, bla bla bla bla! Carb and it works!

      I like both. Carbs on stuff that needs a carb and efi on most other stuff. The biggest issues I have is install issues. I get install issues with carbs as well or a poorly done rebuild and bad adjustment. But it’s hotrod stuff, it’s not for everyone.

      It’s just a circuit board. They usually go bad with voltage spikes like wiring issues or miss use.

      No need to yell. But it would take a redesign of the pcb to add in the extra ins and outs. That would drive up the cost. Option 2 is wait for the can module so you can what ever you want on there

      The goal is to use stuff that most people have. Harbor freight stuff adjustable wrenches and such. Some people like name brand and for the rest it don’t matter much.

      Like where you try to ease into the throttle and it just gives it all at once. Naw the killshot is pretty smooth in that department. My camper was the worse for that when it had the sniper.

      Hei is noisy I know they changed some things on the circuit board to filter some of that out with the newest gen ecu for killshot and deuces wild. My personal jam is Hall effects and the aces coil. I like my timing control.
