The part where Esther and Ruby recognised each other is so wholesome in a game like this
Ruby's sparkle eyes was just the best.
One thing I love so much about these videos is that Mike actually presents the events of a game like a narrative. It's not just "This thing happens and then this", he tries to make it sound like a story that could stand alone outside of a game.
Like it's not just "Miss Bo chases you and you have to hide", it's "Miss Bo reveals her monstrous form and chases Ruby, but Ruby uses her quick wit to find a hiding place until the monster passes by her."
I know, right!! It’s super interesting, I just love the narrating style

@@somedudewhodraws9377 Yeah, and in my opinion, Isabelle definetly deserves her own game and overall exploration, she's honestly one of if not the mkst interesting characters in the game (and also my fav) I could totally imagine her trying to bring the entity back, and maybe that could lead to that common plot of "villain's sidekick risks everything for the villain, villain either betrays or neglects villain's sidekick, villain's sidekick decides to help take villain down" I'm not a huge fan of redemption acrs, but here it could really work, or if we want to focus on Isabelle herself, we could have her just take over the role of the main villain and hunt Ester and Ruby down. And I would honestly LOVE to see what Isabelle now on her own has up her sleeves, me personally, I always imagined her to go for breaking the mentality rather than just physically fighting someone, but regardless of what would happen, what I wanna see is Isabelle finally getting some deeper exploration and development, and I the devs don't just keep her as just a sidekick, cause she deserves more (holy cow I went on such a rant)

I’m convinced Ms. Beverly knew more than she let on. She immediately locked Molly and Isaac in a closet keeping it a secret to the children (and maybe to other matrons too?). She made one of the matrons guard the door to that room and when Esther did get into that room and tried to explain to her that Molly and Isaac (who at that point Esther thought were missing) were in the closet she just dismissed her
She made the matrons walk around the orphanage at night but the matrons didn’t seem to understand why they had to do that.
She also seemed to really hate working at the orphanage despite being the head matron. My theory is that she had seen the entity before and sort of knew that it was going to strike again at Blackland’s Manor so she stuck around to try to stop him but ultimately failed since she didn’t know enough.
While Mr. Hopp’s playhouse 3 was still in production the official Mr. Hopp’s playhouse Twitter account tweeted a picture of Mr. Stripes in the style of the third game and above him there was a text that read something along the lines of “she knew. She had known all along.” Thinking they were referring to Ms. Beverly I was waiting for some sort of reveal involving her. I am a bit disappointed that we never got to see what that tweet was about but it is what it is. It can still be used for theories.

Id wager Ruby has the same gift the Esther did; the entity wanted Ruby desperately, the same way he wanted Esther, so I'd argue she has a power, and potential, that Esther did when she initially met the entity

100% Ruby has powers or at least high potential for powers. In the 2nd game the Entity revealed he wanted Ruby as his own when he gave Esther a vision of the future. He needed to make sure Esther under his power to be able to eventually get to Ruby.

You know I have a theory that Esther and Ruby are descendents of the pharaoh who originally had possession of the six medallion all those years ago it would explain how Esther is able to wield the medallion like that even though it is her first time wielding them back in 2, plus one of the tormented souls in the underworld said she had sacred blood which may play a part in the reason on how she was able to wield them.

At the opening of this game saying how Ruby's friends thought that she was crazy was I the only one who thought that that was a reference to the fan theory saying that Mr. Hppo's was all in Ruby's head and she killed her parents? Also, I find it funny that despite Mr.Hopp's being the title character and the main bad guy of the first game he is really just a grunt.
Yeah, that's kinda sad for mr. Hopp. If moonbit is gonna make another mr.hopp game hope they put Mr. Hopp the main thing again
I mean... it'd make sense that the entity took more of a front seat in this game then the trio of toys. After all, Esther and Ruby triumphed over Mr. Hopps and his goons once before.
@@themasterblaze7563 So? A lot of villains get their asses kicked by kids but still come back as the main big bad and are not just trued into a henchman. I think it would have worked better if Mr. Stripes and Miss. Bo had their own Playhouse games, then a 4th game would make them all peons, instead of making one the poster monster for the series.

Can we talk about the Aunt mentioned at beginning of the game? Can you imagine seeing your sibling and their spouse miraculously being alive after they supposedly died in a fire? Poor women is gonna have so many questions.
I’d like to think Ester will visit Ruby from time to time now that she’s a demon slayer angel.
If the entity can get to the surface through the toys I'm sure Esther can find a way to as well but in a less terrifying way lol

I love how the story doesn't say "Happily ever after." But instead it's "Happily ever after... For now."
A theory I've had for a long time is that the Three Curses contain human souls who are harmless, but are being forced to hurt others by the Entity. The voices when Esther enters the room with eyes, I strongly believe that's Stripes and Hopp.
Perhaps in the future, we may be able to save them :]

Here's a good question for you: Is the toy Ruby fought a different being from the toy Ester fought? In the first game, they state outright that Ester made the doll, as well as knitting clothes and other toys for Ruby. In the second game, Mr Hopp was donated to the orphanage Ester was raised in. Did she actually make a new rabbit, or did possessed Ester lie?
The first game was a sequel and the second game a prequel
I don’t think she remade the doll. She kept it after the endings of the prequel. I think it’s more likely the entity made her lie about making it. It could be a way of forcing Ruby to keep the doll (it appears the doll is the last connection Ruby has to Ester so she’s less likely to throw it out) or just make this toy less sus for being a little ratty looking.
All that aside, it could just be a retcon
My favourite part of the game was how detailed and clean the cutscenes were compared to the other games

I believe Isabelle will be relevant in a future game, that is if there’s another one. Or maybe she’ll have a game dedicated to her past, and how she’s related to the entity fully fledged out.

One thing to point out. Isabelle's eye color is the same as Esther's Arc-Angel form. their bth yellow, Mr Hopp, Mrs Bo and Mr Stripes eyes are yellow aswell

I really like this series and I'm excited to see where the story goes next. Something I'm wondering is what happened to Molly and Issac. Do they still have their toys or did the Entity choose to leave them alone?

I'd like to imagine the fourth installment of this game having a doom 64 kind of theme that involves Esther clearing out the underworld with her powers while hard rock music plays until she eventually meets Isabelle as a boss and ends her.

The lore around Esther now makes sense.
I pointed out in a MHP2 video some time ago that Esther was having nightmares, even BEFORE she got Mr. Hopp. That was because the Entity already had eyes on her, and because her mother, Faith, was just as pure as her.
If Moonbit were to make a DLC for the trilogy, I hope involves Isabelle more, as well as more lore behind sacred ones, and what it means to be one for Esther. If being a sacred one is a rare occurrence, similar to a Dream Vortex from The Sandman.
I love the cutscenes in this game. Both the animation and the voice acting is incredible and portrays so much character.
Remember the lines from the fire ending in Mr.Hopp's Playhouse 1? At first I thought the line could be Esther or Ruby's parents saying that, but if that's so why would they say"save us, save your family?" So, I think that line in the fire ending is Mr.Hopp trying to ask Ruby to save him and his two other friends to get out of the entity's control or it just another unknown character sending S.O.S to Ruby(Is Just A Theory)
I AM going to say it straight: a truly really big effort was put in this game, and we can see why.

I think you forget about the 'Man's crying voice in the Stairs of Darkness.' I guess that's man's crying voice must belong to Arthur(Esther's Father) who must be moaning in sadness on his Wife's death.
i would LOVE a full movie with this plotline and the cutscene animation style
I think that something important to notice is that in the first game, a lot of eyes appeared as a secret in a room, and the eyes appear again in this game, making a connection between these two.
Also, it would be great if the creators of Mr Hopp also unite that universe with the one that they made with the Snowman entity from other of their games. I think that existence of The Entity and the underworld can explain those events if they wanted to make an expanded universe, giving them the chance to make other horror games of other kinds of ghosts entities attacking other people.
Maybe they can make another game with other paranormal monsters attacking Molly and/or Issac's families, making an expanded universe.
I've never played any of the Mr. Hopps Games... But these videos are just interesting to watch

i like how these games in their true ending always ends in a boss fight where you fight back in the first game ruby destroys mr hopp and the entity (or so we thought) in a fire also she man handled mr hopp with a sling shot and in the second game esther used the six to fight the entity which then the first game took place after becuase the entity pulled a willaim afton and came back and in the 3rd game well you know what happened esther man handled the entity
It sure is interesting and cool that there is a Sonic final boss like finale.

Hey mike can you pls play in sound mind pls, it’s a psychological horror game about a therapist who travels through the thoughts and memories of his now dead patients in the form of cassette tapes, it’s full of puzzles, mysteries, interesting characters and awesome music as well as a amazing story, it’s a really fun and emotional game but it’s extremely underrated for some unknown reason and the game isn’t even that old.
Piecing the story together was really fun to do. I'm very curious what will happen with Isabella and most likely the future for Mr. Hopps Playhouse

I didn't understand the story of Mr Hopp's playhouse 3. Thanks to you, now I have finally understood the story. Also just a quick note, I was watching a CZcamsr playing the game and they have confirmed with the devs of the game that , unfortunately , Mr Hopp's playhouse 3 is the last in the trilogy. So, its unlikely we will get another Mr Hopp's playhouse game for a while atleast.
