Thanks, Ramdas. This masterclass and Improvisation Vol. 1 are definitely great for intermediate players. Lots of fundamental skills are being covered in the first chapters, before moving into the flashy stuff.

When I saw you 3 years ago or so in a clinic what shocked me the most was your picking technique ( and Quayle's). I think I'll give this a shot.
Quayle doesnt pick. You do realize that, right?
@@saadshah7857 Of course he does. He does hybrid picking.
@@paudiaz4660 well, I didnt know that. From what I have seen he usually uses legato and some finger picking.

@@paulgilbert3139 Thanks for the suggestion. I bought his Hybrid Picking masterclass two or three years ago. He did a great job of selling me on the merits of that technique. That is why I was surprised to see this MC on alternating picking and why I asked the question.
@@jackmeginniss6327 Then that's a weird question. It's like asking 'If you can play anything by tapping, why alternate pick?' Both techniques have their place.
