I have seen this question come up before on Facebook. In my opinion, they don’t need to necessarily be the same length. However, you probably want them to be fairly close. Having one 10’ longer than the other may lead to problems.

What’s the difference between the 7gpm with the smaller proportioned valves than the 7gpm with the bigger valves?
