Kumar Panta is former president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), the global body representing Nepalis living abroad. Born in Phujel, Gorkha, and currently a successful businessman in Germany, Panta secured his position after defeating rival Kul Acharya in a closely contested election. With a vision focused on investment, foreign employment, and broad participation, Panta is set to lead the NRNA for the next two years.
Jiba Lamichhane (Nepali: जीवा लामिछाने) is a prominent entrepreneur and former president of the International Coordination Council (ICC) of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). A founding member of the NRNA, Lamichhane holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Moscow State University. He has been honored with the prestigious 'Prawal Janasewshree' award by the President of Nepal for his significant contributions to Nepal and the Nepali diaspora. He is also the author of the travel memoir 'Sarsarti Sansaar.'
