    FAQ
    What kind of oven do you use?:
    It is a food dehydrator, an oven with vents and a fan for the moisture to go out. It also can go very low in temperature 35-75 degrees Celcius.
    Can i use a normal oven?:
    You can use a oven but you would need to keep the door slightly open for the moisture. And since it takes a long time to dry this is not the best option.
    Can i use the sun to dry?:
    The sun can work too of course if it is hot and dry for a couple days, a food dehydrator most consistent.

    Do.you put them.in the refrigerator or freezer to set? What are the hearts made of? Could you also peel the rinds off the oranges? Everything was great. I'm glad I found your page. You're amazing🥰

    • @Everythingshemakes
      @Everythingshemakes  Před 3 lety +1

      No i don’t refreeze them, it goes in a oven so that would only take longer to dry. The hearths are made of fondant i also made them in the dryer. Make fondant and color it as you like, cut out with mini shape and dry until hard ❤️💕💕 thank you so much! 💕

    • @Everythingshemakes
      @Everythingshemakes  Před 3 lety

      Minimal a week to two weeks depending on the climate. If the fruits are completely dried :) but you can always taste if it still tastes good, the fruit can become soft again over a longer time period.

    65°c for 12 hrs. It's too much, is there any alternative?

    • @Everythingshemakes
      @Everythingshemakes  Před 3 lety +1

      You can try a higher temperature but all the water need to evaporate from the fruit, this takes time and higher temperature can burn the fruits. If you live in a warm country you can try sun drying. Lay it out protected in the sun and it will maybe take 1-3 days. Hope this helps!
