A few tips for giving your dog commands: 1 come up with a random word make sure your using a treat or it will stop working over time once you have your word say it to your dog from a far he should come within a few times saying the word. Number 2 try lifting your hand when you want your dog to sit and try lowering your hand when you want him to lay down. Number 2.5 you should try saying down instead of lie down that’s just what I say and I think it’s easier for both me and my dog
