@@KayleJudicator I disagree with her being boring. She brings a whole new perspective to broadway and while pop isn't her strong suit, her talent doesn't dim at all with those performances either. She did pretty well with Fireworks by Katy Perry and not to mention I have to say her technique is on point and her dynamics are astounding.
@@evanbrackett649 Honestly no, Fireworks sounds bad with her, as much as I kissed a girl and many others pop songs. CanonBall is such an irritating pop song, i can't listen it more than 1 minute for example. Pop, rnb, soul, urban's styles just don't fit her voice well. She is fantastic in the right style but clearly lack of versatility.

No... Perhaps you, when you hear her voice, instantly associates it with theater and hears a theatricality that isn't really there. However, most songs in the video above are *supposed* to be theatrical; they're not pop songs.

Something about Lea Michele and her voice just touches me, especially when she does theater. I will never forget the first time I watched her Own My Own performance at Hollywood Bowl or her performing My Man. I got chills and teared up on both occasions. I really really wish she returns to Broadway one day, as much as I love her on tv, there's nothing like live theater and she can create magic on stage

Honeymuffin i prefer covers to her album too! i think it's because a lot of the really good covers she does are broadway and that's really what her voice is suited for so i'm not a huge fan of when she tries to do pop

She can literally sing ANYTHING, but man is she good with the broadway/theatrical genre. And THAT is not easy even if you are a great pop singer originally. Broadway is tough. Powerful. There’s probably a SLIM few “pop” singers who could actually sing theatrical music.. really Lady Gaga is one of the few I can think of. Lea Michele is phenomenal
