  • Hi and welcome back to my channel! In this video I talk about the Montessori floor bed, my cosleeping story and night comfort nursing with my daughter and how we achieved independent sleep without using a cry it out method.

Geez I’m so glad you talked about cosleeping. WHY is this so radical and taboo in America…
My husband says cosleeping is common in Mexico, and it seems ridiculous to me that putting a literal baby in an entire other room to start out is seen as being anywhere close to “normal”.
Not to mention the shaming and being told that being close to your baby is dangerous… It takes courage to talk about something that really shouldn’t be so taboo.

I don’t think you understand how many babies die from suffocation in America due to improper sleep practices. America is full of stupid people. If you give birth in the hospital, they make you watch the ABC sleeping video and sign the proper paperwork.

Love this video!!! I wish more women were open and helpful about this! We bedshare in this exact way. ALL babies will eventually sleep alone at their own pace and it does not affect their daily independent skills. Thank you!!

I absolutely LOVE this video!! Thank you mama!!! I’m on the EXACT same boat and it’s nice to just resonate with another mama and know that what we are doing is fine and best for our own babies. Thank you thank you thank youuuuu

Very encouraging! I constantly feel uncertain that she will ever sleep independently but I also don't want to sleep train. This is super helpful. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your sleeping arrangements so honestly! I also ended up cosleeping with my baby out of necessity at around 4 months when I could not take having to stand up and comfort him back to sleep anymore. He an I have sleep wonderfully since (most of the time) but I don't know anyone personally who cosleeps as well, so it is always reasuring to hear from another mom who is sleeping this way!

So helpful, thanks so much. I’m also comfort nursing and cosleeping and it is great to hear you were able to do the natural transition without cry it out. We tried and it was not for us. I’m keen to try the floor bed. Thank you 🙏

Hey on the same boat too. I m also doing confert nursing my 18 months old boy. He was not much in to breastfeeding earlier when 10 months or so but since last week he wants to have one more feed during day time. N nights are nightmares..wakes up all the time needs either push to the cradle he sleeps in or nursing. He doesn't like nursing by me sleeping on his side but the way we do like I m being sitted. Wakes up a lot n needs assistance much. I m feeling so low n bad..Will be starting work next month..God knows how n what happen. He is also not eating enough for his age n activity levels...

    Thank you sharing.
Very similar to us! 10 months at the moment.
I have a queen bed in my babies room where we both sleep.
Contact nap and nurse to sleep. Sometimes ninja roll away for sleeps, to get a little break.
I put him to sleep in a wrap 99% of the time. He gets very fidgety when tired so I've found the only way to relax him for sleep is in the wrap. I've taught us how to unwrap when he's asleep and "hug n roll" him to the bed, works bed when he's on the breast, sometimes he finds the breast when I am unwrapping and he goes back to sleep.
It is very personal experience. I've
had alot of difficultly with sleep because he is easily aggitated and fidgety when tired, calming and relaxing is my goal now and sleep is the byproduct. Was a really helpful mental shift from sleep to relaxation.
Thank you for sharing! Keep it up! Please...

Thank you for this video! I have an almost 11 month old son that co sleeps with myself and my fiancé because he will sleep no longer than 2hrs in his crib. This gives me comfort knowing that other new moms do this as well. I have also noticed my son sleeps better on our queen sized mattress for his naps longer than his own crib too. So I will definitely be trying this new sleeping arrangement with our son.

I, would love if you do a follow up video about toddler sleep. At what age did your kid stoped needing your help to fall back asleep.

I have watched so many videos on baby sleep because my 10 month still nurses at night twice or thrice. Your video is the only reassuring one ! Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I have a 13 month old baby girl and also do the nursing to sleep step, I was getting really nervous about her not learning to sleep on her own but kind of trusting that she will eventually do it at her own time without any rush. Listening to your experience gives me a BIG relief haha.
We also do montessori at home and I put on practice a lot of your tips as Im not montessory trained or educated. So thank you !! And please keep sharing 🙏🏻😁!
