Thank you, Father. The looking at the Host almost seems to be a part of 'partaking of the Divine nature' but using the eyes. It's interesting to see how the thought changed.
Thank you for you wonderful videos!

Astonishingly interesting topic. Thank you! God Bless! I always delight in looking at the elevation of the Holy Sacrament.

I would be curious to have this channel post some survey questions to its viewers. It would be interesting to know viewers religious affiliations, the number of lay or ordained members, the number of people who have been able to take part in historic liturgies etc.

In a recently posted vid, this very point is discussed in relation to Gutenburg. His career began with the manufacture of Aachen mirrors, a pilgrimage badge designed to capture the image of relics shown at the cathedral in Aachen, only once every seven years.

Did they bring up the Saracen scientist who’s theories about eyes and light led to our revision? There’s something tragic about a Muslim having such a jarring effect on our understanding of how we can interact with the Eucharist.

Really enjoy the channel, I wonder if you might do a video on some other vestments used during a service, particularly I'm curious as to the nature of the vestments the presentor wore during one of your earlier videos, they seem to remind me quite strongly of the vestments worn by a verger in the Anglican Tradition?

do you guys use the unleavened "hosts"? and if so do you think that its more appropriate to use the leavened bread that was always used in the east, as it is typological of the risen Christ and the very bread blessed by Christ in the mystical last supper?

They use a leavened bread as visible on one of their Liturgy recordings.

The canons of the Orthodox Church proscribe leaven in the Eucharist.

The Western Rite uses leavened bread; I'm not sure how Divers Other Monks' group does things but in ROCOR they use the Byzantine chalice while in Antioch they flatten leavened bread into circular hosts resembling the Catholic "cracker" so that they may distribute it to the tongue, the both species are served.

The bread used by Christ in the last supper would have been that of the passover feast and would have been unlevened
