Tariq having military grade weapons makes sense. Recall Mecca dealt guns too so it would make sense they kept some. Remember when they said we move drugs and he noted you move guns now too.
Since last season ended people have been talking about who will saved Tariq but this episode showed that he does not need to be saved not saying he won’t need help but he’s not a damsel in distress
He asked Tommy for help in 310 and uncle Tommy said no “this ain’t my war”.

@@tyronegreen1961 power doesn’t do stuff like that and Mecca wasn’t her husband he was her fiancée which means they probably hadn’t been together for that long at least not long enough for them to have a kid together because if he was Anya’s father they would’ve already been married
Anya had on noise-cancellation headphones while danger was around her, that is the same thing that happened to Tariq when he had on noise-cancellation headphones while Ghost was face-to-face with danger. Anya doesn't know about her mom's work, same thing as Tariq, there are many parallels to Tariq's life.

Couple things I picked up on. I think the guy from the Italy episode last season is the father noma n her daughter talking about. They have an easy excuse for the guns since noma had them selling them for an episode or two n u can’t put it past Tariq to steal sum. The storage space I think is him trying to be like ghost n have stashes around the city. The scene in the storage unit def reminded me of when they killed lobos n Tommy said nigga in the smoothest way possible
Brayden already knew how to shoot from hunting with his family
Obi is definitely not gonna live. The way Cane was in her face in the trailers can't happen with Obi around.

What I wonder is if she actually heard those guys talking to him about the green cards and pretended she didn't hear. She literally came right around the corner after he shot the guys. Those guys were yelling at him. Hard to believe she didn't hear it.

Tommy was already the distress call that failed. Riq just asked Tommy for help in the finale when Tommy cut Tariq off from following Monèt. Riq said he could use his help. Tommy scolded him about picking and staying in his lane.. School or streets.. And says it isn't his war plus he's already dead in NY.
So yeah that's probably what fueled the desperation in Riq pleading for help from Davis

Technically, they planned it but Tariq didn't go through with it. Monet is in the hospital because Tasha shot her. Tasha wasn't working with Diana and Monet. Moreover, Monet apologized when they were in the car and then she threw herself over Diana to protect her, so of course she's had a change of heart and feels remorseful and guilty about the plan. Dru didn't have that same experience so he's still in the same state of rage over "Papi" being killed by Monet along with her making him kill Gordo. Both have valid reasons to feel the exact opposite of each other.
The timeline is a bit weird that’s why I started watching All Powers again.
The most hated character on OG Power was Tariq...We all know what he done ☝🏾🤔💯🔥

The reason why he killed is own half brother was cause the show was ending if not he will still be alive & i also like how Tariq used the college student card to clean up killing a fbi agent which kind of work & I also liked how he Spines what he had on Dru to stop Cane from killing him & as for Brayden I feel bad for him after his father disowned him but at the same time I get why his father disowned Brayden cause cane came to their house nd beat up is own brother & I think Effie is still in love with Tariq for her to give Tariq head up she still in love with Tariq

S/o to Lucas for the point on the female assassin because I was thinking the exact same thing, after waiting for her to show up during the garage stuff and never did. Perhaps she may be saved for later. Tariq's ability to pull chess moves on the fly in the midst of high pressure situations like his father will always be one of my favorite things about his character progression in this show.
Tariq talking about how he wish they could just be regular kids going to school etc is WILD…. how quickly he forgot how he was up in hid father’s face talking about “Teach me the MFing game Ghost!” How school wasn’t going to change who he was just like those suits weren’t going to change who Ghost was…I guess memory gets short when the game gets real and those bullets got your name on them…
Yes that scene with Tariq and Brayden saying that I’m like really 🤔…YOU ALL HAD A CHOICE AND YOU CHOSE TO SELL DRUGS AND NOW ..NOW YOU WANT TO GO BACK??..I laughed at that scene smh 🤦🏽♀️..what a bunch of teenagers 🙄🤣
I just thought that whole scene what so unnecessary. It made no sense whatsoever.
The game is like that you have to be in the mud to understand it’s easier to be clean he saw his dad at his apex and didn’t experience the part where ghost was going through what he’s going through now

It would be plausible if Cane truly focused on his own pursuit of leadership by reviewing what went wrong for the Tejada organization. Woody has the acting chops for a meatier character.
The weapons they were using looked like pdw (personal defense weapon). They're likely chambered in 4.6 mm or 5.7 mm, known for light recoil and keeping your grouping/cluster tight. Add to it they had "the element of surprise" and yes you can drop a few guys easily if you're in cover which they weren't and you're getting all head or heart shots which they weren't.
The premier episode was so good 🔥😍

Funny things is that. She is taique from power book 1. She knows nothing of her crime family n now asking questions .
It deff felt a lil rushed and u can tell that ubs/hard drive info was changed bc of the abrupt cancellation. It was going to be something deeper that them green cards.
Storage unit-
The guns stashed didn't confuse me bc when Tasha was locked up, she told Tariq about Ghost and Tommy having storage units and stash spots for cash spread around town in case they had to dip out in a hurry.
Guns-
Nona forced the crew to move Mecca's supply of guns after Monèt murked him. Then that gun deal Gordo Castillo brought the to Dru in upstate NY that went bad at that motel w/ Lorenzo and Cane and the racist white boys when they had to kill them all (except the CI who got away). I just figured Tariq kept his share as his stash and paid Noma from the influx of cash he had from the Wallstreet moves.
Sharp shooting-
This also makes sense bc of that family hunting trip Brayden took Tariq on. Many if not most hunters shoot AKs. The whole family can shoot. Brayden was scared to catch 'human' bodies, not inexperienced at shooting.
And Tariq has been in enough shoot outs and catching bodies that he just knows how to shoot just like Cane does. Tariq has had great aim since season 1. So that GTA scene was closer to realistic bc they had the distraction of the unmanned moving vehicle to get the drop on Anya's (surprisingly amateur) guards. 🤷🏾♀️
Anya's dad is the Italian dude who's mansion party in Italy the snuck in at Noma's direction to find something (I forgot what).
But they got caught and cornered outside and dude was about to execute Tariq when Noma's snipers rose up from hiding and shot dude in the head to save Tariq.. Then Noma emerges and intros herself to Tariq in person.
That mansion is how Tariq and Effie know who Anya is bc they saw the family pic in the mansion. This is part of what Noma means when she says Tariq knows too much. It's not just about her organization.
