Get him to go somewhere else. I can see Batman stealing or trying to steal the Ultimate Nullifer. A plan that might fail simply because Reed Richards and the Fan 4 would destroy it, knowing he can just make another one. But it being as powerful and dangerous as it is, is best left unmade until actually needed.

I don't think you can use the same tactic on Galactus twice. Even the Ultimate Nullifier can no longer work against him.
Galactus is immune to the penance stare. Although in an old cartoon they showed him succumbing to it, that is not canon. Galactus has no soul, and is immune to the nulifer now

It says a lot about your power when even BATMAN basically says “if he really tries hard enough, and we don’t have this machine, we can’t win.” Even the nullifier can’t do anything to him, because he can hide in his pocket dimension, so the one “threat” Batman had is useless!

The Nullifier is part of Galactus. He can summon it at will and escape its effects into a pocket dimension. There's been a lot of speculation of why he gave it up to Reed Richards, mostly a lot of anthropomorphizing. What it boils down to is, we don't know!
Mental and magical attacks on Galactus will require beings of such power (typically cosmic beings) that they frequently either 1) don't want to have anything to do with you, 2) I KILL you out of hand for even deigning to bother them, or 3) Will become the big problem to solve the instant Galactus is even stalled for a few moments. And that is assuming they already know why Galactus and that it is better to just let him do what he does for the betterment and continuance of the universe. I mean the guy can solo Darkseid and Apokalypse, if it was ever worth his time (a lot of energy spent to get nothing back).
Fortunately, the DC Universe does not have Celestials, which Galactus consumes, at the cost of the planets they spawn from. So just leave it alone unless you want more problems than you ever thought you'd solve.
