What I appreciate most is the shooting....liverpool players have completely forgotten how to take shots from outside the box...and we need it.
Unfortunately they didn't forget, but there are many players in the age 30+ in the starting lineup - consider their muscles are not that elastic and strong, lots of stiffness and past injuries happened in the meantime (which is also the reason why they weren't capable to do gegenpressing last 2 seasons). Therefore, getting younger quality players in the squad makes a huge difference.
Just compare what CR7 was capable to do when he was 25 and what he couldn't do when he was 32.
Completely agree with you on that LFC player forgot how to score from outside the box. He need a midfielder who specialize in this field ❤
Imo, they were just afraid to shoot the ball because it could lead to a counter attack and that would mean extra running . The midfield looked gassed last season so it makes sense

Happy days as a hungarian Liverpool supporter. :) Folks, this guy carries our national team. Whenever he plays he lifts the others' level up as well, ordinary carthorses become priced stallions around him. He is a more athletic, two-footed Coutinho-type player who is very good with set pieces. He's also a natural leader. We'll see how it works out of course, but possibly the best deal of the transfer window.
Good stuff! He does look a very technically gifted player. Let's hope he gets off to good start with preseason training!

Fab, Hendo, Thiago, Bajcetic, TAA, Jones, et al. can't see that we have got that wrong throwing him on such a mix. Even if we could have Jude, we could have tried to fit him into the squad. I heard Klopp's comment about him. It is all about helping newcomers to settle.

It's well and good listing the players who flopped but there are so many who came from the Bundesliga and succeeded. Kdb, Haaland, firmino, gundogan, Son, Ballack, Kompany, Dzeko, Berbatov. That's just to name a few. And the potential of Dominik is very high. Like you can see he is great technically. The way he strikes a ball is second to none.

Every club knows y'all pay well, so they can and will demand a lot. Pulisic for example was good, but never exceptional. No superstar. He even was on the bench multiple games for Dortmund in his last year. They literally couldn't believe to get 60 Mil for him. Same with Keita, he wasn't worth that money - and a few others too. But because your investors got the money, they can't say no, no matter how stupidly high the transfer fee is you have to pay. I know that's the football business today, but all your English clubs feeded that behavior on the transfermarket A LOT.
