The story begins with Spider-Man defending Mary Jane Watson from Venom. In the middle of Midtown Spider-Man grapples with Venom. A part of the symbiote binds to itself to Parker, and Spider-Man continues the fight. With his symbiotic power, Parker defeats Brock but loses him. Mary Jane is rushed to the hospital. With the city becoming infested with symbiotes, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage and S.H.I.E.L.D. have to work together to stop the threat before it consumes New York.
This was a fun game in its time but it definitely shows its age now. I decided to cut a lot here because ultimately a lot of the missions were unnecessary to the main story. Still a great game for it's time. I hope a great studio explores an open wold Spider-Man soon. Give it the Arkham treatment.
I hope you guys have enjoyed Marvel Week. We wanted to do Shattered Dimensions but ran out of time. We will postpone until our next Marvel Week, which is the week before X-Men: Apocalypse comes out!

The Good Path's ending makes me cry in a good way. Eddie being so willing to give his own life to save others shows that deep under that evil symbiote, he is a good man at heart.

I remember hoping there would be a sequel to Web of Shadows. At the time, it was the best Spiderman game to date. IMO, it still trumps most of the later released games.

That aerial battle with Vulture was so cool. It really showcased Spidey's gracefulness.
What wasn't cool was how freaking dense the good guys were. "Hey, civilians are crawling on all fours up skyscrapers and leaping at people like rabid animals. Spider-Man was clearly attacking them unprovoked." Like, at least the vigilantes wised up once the outbreaks started. Black Widow, SHIELD, and the police didn't connect the dots whatsoever until the outbreaks were clearly well under way.

I played this game on the 360. This is the best Spider-Man game of all time. And Spidey in this game is very overpowered. I love it!!!
