The Swedish queen of Eurovision is Carola HĂ€ggkvist. Carola's singing voice was much better (when she was younger). Although I don't like Carola's religious views.
Euphoria is a very nonsensical song and this one is just slightly better. Definitely not a worthy Eurovision winner.

As far as performance art goes, Loreen is riding a wave far above anyone else. She's in her own galaxy, maybe her own universe and I truly believe (like all great artists before) she's ahead of her time. In fact there's something biblical about this, maybe even nursery like. It's like the birth of a new dawn of humans, one intermingled with technology and one connected to a matrix like umbilical cord.
This is what I'm seeing here, it's the truest beauty.
The pain that is in this is so intense yet it burns magnificently bright and moves the energy into something so profound that I can't help but get shivers down my spine when I hear it.
Who else does this with their art?
Who else can interweave previous notation from other songs like as we see here with tattoo? That rolling and thunderous instrumental is iconic. Just like Euphoria before that it echoes and ricochets around the arena like a bullet and it tears through our souls and opens us up to being healed by the angelic voice that she so seemingly and effortlessly dominates.
I'm not sure if I'm done with this, but I'm starting to think I'm obsessed with her art.
I perceived it similarly - death and being re-born at new level - a bit inspired by the Eywa Tree in Avatar, also with lots of lights and this posture, like both being in a mother's tummy and in space. a bridge connecting the very authentic nature (closing style a bit like in Seon in Matrix) and cyber reality - very moving, hard to express...

There not many singers in this world who have such a great voice - one such one is Anggun (also a great and mesmeric performer); but even Anggun can't match the awesome talent that is Loreen. Loreen often incorporates Amazigh and Moroccan elements into her music and performance. That might be why it reminds you of dune

Art like this that is genuine and authentic doesn't get promoted, because in order to be controlled by the powers that manage you. You have to sell your soul, and I'm damn near convinced that Loreen would rather live on the streets than sell her soul to the corporate world.

We get too little of her and are hungry for more. It means the people in power should have their financial interests with her, even if it means giving her control over what she releases. So why not really?
@@juliannej5826 You would think, supply and demand would dictate more of her success. However, like with any art it takes time and patience. There's no clear deadline when it emerges and for business people and accountants this only means uncertainty.
My theory is as follows and is my gut, so take it with a pinch of salt. You get other artists, with less of a spine than Loreen who unfortunately get pressured into creating tit for tat music just to satisfy the financial needs.
Loreen as we know hasn't released even an album in a few years and that's because she takes her time with it. In fact, I'd say this song is a mini album in itself all combined into one because it incorporates her other songs.
My question is, why doesn't the UK talk about European talent from the continent - unless it's Eurovision?
