Question: What advice would you give a new photographer about shooting family and friends? I just took down my website and texted every family and friends group chat to tell them I’m done with photography. I’m tired of being used and not treated as a professional but yet professional enough to desperately want a photoshoot by me. Then I see your videos and work, and I get so inspired to get out there again.

I took up photography as a hobby, then did a wedding for a friend and now I'm getting more wedding booking through word of mouth. I self taught too. Watched lots of videos and searched wedding photographers who inspire me. You definitely inspire me, thank you x

I stumbled across your BTS wedding video while doing some late night editing. I’ve been doing this photography game for over 20 years. Not only did I find your content to be inspirational, it was outstanding. It truly makes me want to invest more time and money into increasing the production value of my BTS content. I hope you don’t mind me using some of your format. Also, I found it ironic that we are using 90% of the same gear and wedding day procedures. I guess great minds think alike. Have you used posing ideas on your phone during weddings, and if so did you ever felt awkward?

When it comes to posing couples, I do have backup poses from Pinterest shots in my digital camera reference not phone. At those awkward moments of cluelessness, All I need to do is scroll back to have a peep at those poses, to keep the vibe still going😊

What continuous light do you use on location ?
Hey. I’ve recently started my photography business and although it’s a work in progress and I’m figuring a lot out as I go, I was wondering how you go about scouting and acquiring new locations to shoot at. With exception to wedding venues since those locations are already reserved by the client.

Would you recommend that the Canon 5D Mark IV would be a good camera for weddings?I currently have a Rebel T7 and I’m going to upgrade to a new camera shortly. I don’t know if I’m ready for mirroless yet.

Last April '23. A friend called my wife and myself and said GOD told them to buy me a (GOOD) camera and I Prayed before I accepted the camera and GOD said, like HE told Moses "WHAT's THAT IN YOUR HAND (Wayne)"? Got Canon R7 and have been trying to learn all the features in what makes a good pic and 2 weeks ago I got a call to do a home wedding (This Sat).
Have been watching your Videos and (again) you are speaking to my every concern BUT how do you make Money from the wedding if it's my 1st??? It will cost me to print, develop, or do you give wedding album. and what about if I did couple Free can I charge wedding party?
