Can we talk about the fact that he's not just in a giant box, he's in a giant box with "Sing Along STUPENDIUM" "Really sings!" written on the front, and an artistic rendering of him on the side? They went through the effort of making their own toy marketing designs and putting it onto the box to really sell ( pun unintended, but well accepted) the effect.

I mentioned his "popping and locking" movements, like he was doing the robot, but yes, his movement throughout is amazing.
Not to mention the CAMERA movement. It's subtle, but in the shots with the FIVE Stupendium dolls all playing and singing, the camera is pushing in slowly. That means that camera (I'm assuming a computer-assisted rig) had to do that move FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES. Amazing

      If I remember correctly
Specifically fnaf batim and poppy playtime helped popularize the mascot horror genre (especially fnaf and batim) with fnaf being the one that popularized hidden lore and established some of the tropes like jumpscares or the animal mascots then bendy established the common trend of mascot horror games being "walking simulators" with hidden secrets inside and poppy playtime popularizing the use of gimics as sale points (bendy also did it with the axe and later the seeing glass but poppy playtime is the one that turned it into a common trope of the genre with the graboack inspiring things like the drone in Garten of ban ban) also if I remember correctly hello neighbor also played a part in the genre being formed and if I'm not mistaken pastra was the one to give the genre its name on one of his videos

It's hard to explain in a short manner, but they (EnchantedMob & someone else) had bullied an animator ( who was also their fan ) after he didn't join them, which led to him getting messages along the lines of him "never reaching success if he didn't join" to the point where he stopped making content and needed a bit of therapy. That guy also had a concept for an indie game which had quite a bit of similarities to the later announced Poppy Playtime (from steam description to some story concepts), which felt like it was made in a way to spite him. They recently made something like an apology, but it felt corporate af, included multiple lies and just tried to shift the blame from them.

Looking back at Stupes' tweets from march, I guess this is the "sickeningly colourful you might just wish it was monochrome" video they were tweeting about.
Also, since I realized it, the scene with the 5 Toypendiums uses a Motion Control Camera.
One tweet in the march time space talked about a primary piece of film-making equipment breaking, but it not being the camera.
I guess that might've been the motion control part, since you want the exact movement replicated for things like cloning a person in a scene (makes removing unneeded parts of the scene a lot easier without it being noticeable).
The music video "Fear and delight" uses that technique to a great extent.
Or you keep the camera still, like in the scenes where Toy-pendium is headless.
Wouldn't surprise me if those were the scenes that had to be reworked because of the tech breaking ^^
The last tidbit I noticed is the Employee ID
The Number looks like a date, I'd not be surprised if Stupes snuck in their b-day or something of similar importance to that.

here is a little fun fact about poppy playtime, it seems that most of the toys and experiments are actually victims being orphans and possibly even employees that got kidnapped and turned into the toys and experiments. (also it is shown that seemingly their flesh, muscles, and internal organs including eyes are used in the process of them being turned into toys and experiments and seemingly nothing supernatural is being used.) Poppy surprisingly isn't a villian, even the main villain of chapter 2 mommy long legs does have multiple documents showing that she is mostly good and thinks the player is evil. Edit: also the toys are used as a common food source in the factory.

MOB tried to cash grab on a fad, and audiences resented that *understandably because said fad is basically a bad scam, and MOB put some story elements as exclusives to unlock with the NFTs&. About sums up the controversy for the most part. Its like being angry at a theme park for charging 10 dollars for a bottle of water, underhanded, but end of the day they will milk what cash they can out of you. You just have to show them they can't by not purchasing the obvious overpriced or otherwise bad products like NFTs.

I don't know how long the developers of Poppy Playtime have been working on games, but I know about the contraversy with the NFTs. Apparently they wanted to make merch and decided to experiment on doing NTFs. These NTFs had lore in them, which meant you had to buy them in order to get the lore. A lot of people really hated this so much that the developers said they would never do them in the near future. Even though it had a lot of backlash, I saw it more of a learning experience than a mistake.
