Absolutely outstanding! The ladder man was almost a one man RIT/RIC/FAST team. Great job establishing egress points, clearing the doorway of debris, eliminated any remaining glass from windows. One hard-working fireman right there, gave 100%.
Handled those ladders like a boss. Good work and nice truck.
This guy is an animal!! Great fucking job brother.
Great truck work by the OVM. Love to see all those ladders up! Way to keep the brothers safe.
6 to midnight watching this. Solid work.
This guy is a credit to the badge. All fire fighters young or old should be able to do this. In any fire this is the guy that could save your life.
Thank you Jay. Can never recieve too many compliments. They go far ways. Be smart.
Excellent work by all, especially the OV, gotta share with my department what fast, smooth, and effective truck work a can accomplish with a little knowledge and hard work. Great video!
Thanks guys. We are happy to be working with you both. Good luck with everything.
OUTSTANDING work! OVM was exceptionally good. Very impressed 💪👍🚒🧑🏻🚒
Great video, and great job. No unnecessary smashing of windows, or ripping up the roof; just use common sense! Too often we see FF's just blindly following protocols, and wrecking homes. Be good, and be safe.
That guy on ladders holy hell he can move
One of the best OVM examples I have seen on youtube. Talk about a go getter. Great work!
-Leatherheadssocialclub
Great, quick work by the guy setting up the ladders. He ran every time.Great training!!!!!!!🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
Who ever that is was rocking it. Strong work, no direction knew what to do when to do it. Credit to their department and the fire service in general. Example to follow.
OVM: Amazing hustle. Wonderful job! I liked how you only took out one pane of glass instead of the whole door! (Try before you pry!). As well, awesome job clearing the debris from the doorway. Grade A Firefighting right there.
Officer: Awesome job communicating with not only your crew, but the crew of 24. You guys were outstanding.
Great video guys! Inspiration for us to train and work even harder!
Again, excellent job and video!
Thank you Nick! Staying calm is key.Take care. Stay smart!
awesome to hear. Thank you Chris. Be smart.
The ladder man is an animal in those first few minutes. That is some great work done by one guy. Awesome job.
That was impressive to watch! Stay safe.
Wow thank you so much. It is awesome to hear positive feedback
Thank you for the compliment. Train today, fight tomorrow, go home everyday!
textbook OV work right there..strong work!
Thank you James. Be Smart!
Such awesome words to hear. Thank you nozzlehead.

Thank you Evan. More videos to come. Take care
Great Job , OVM man did excellent work.
Great work truckie!
Now that's professional work good job
Threw those ladders like a real man. Awesome work Truck 19.
Just scooped up a Lansdown Truck 19 shirt off firecompaniesstore even though im in NY. Just because i respect your videos and hard work.
Keep it up brothers.
Thank you stay smart!
Great job by the OV! You guys definitely study your craft..stay safe
Thank you!
The ladder man is just doing work! He's a beast.
Just enlisted in the marines and got the MOS i wanted "Crash Fire Rescue" Hopefully after I'm done I'll be able to work as a firefighter with the FDNY! Great work and stay safe
Thank you
Love these helmet cam videos. I just wish i didnt get dizzy watching them. Great work guys, be safe!
We strictly use 6ft ny hooks. We like the extra reach it has to offer over the 5ft hooks. Also offers more leverage, force, with the extra weight behind making it easier to clear windows and what not. good luck
Great job yet again Truck 19!
good job. I will soon be military firefighter where I live, the city of Curitiba, state of Paraná, Brazil. I love the style of work of you, "attack the fire."
Great truck work! One man show there! Impressive. I also would have liked to see the vent.
EXCELLENT job done. Little Blitz 85 LZFD ret Illinois
Great work!
Crazy how high that OVM carries the ladder butt. Strong work regardless.
Nice hustle!!!!
thank you venomousdojo!
Awesome Job Brother , excellent video look forward to more like this, Be safe

Nice video man . keep them coming I like watching your videos and stay safe
All blessings to our brave skilled firefighters. I'm too old to do the job but would love join the brother/sisterhood...
Great video!!! Too bad it ended so quick, I would have loved to see the rest of it
That's what I bought. As a tip if you want you can weld a chain link to the shaft and pair a probar with the hook. Great combination.
that ovm is a bad ass, good work
Amazing job
@OneNineTruck YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!
Well you see, there are many different jobs and responsibilities in this job.
The guy with the helmet cam rides on Truck, not a fire truck, but the Apparatus/company itself is called Truck. This holds tools, ladders, rescue equipment, etc and as you can see in the beginning, is the vehicle that holds the tower ladder.
This guys job is what you see, ventilate, set escape routes, and get tools ready.
Guys in the engine that was on scene are there to control the hose. Not enough room to type
Would love to see some more videos soon stay safe and God bless.
First of all boys great job second of all you got a few things you have to work out but all in all good job good luck and Godspeed
343 never forget
Strong work OVM
Thats good Truck work. I wish I had 2 or 3 of them.
A credit to the service, something to strive too.
hell of a job by that ovm
I was just coming on here to say that the truckman there is a fucking BEAST! But glad to see others are already giving him props. Awesome work man, I wanna be like you lol.
High shoulder carry makes it a lot easier to quickly get ladders up. Proficiency is key!
nice job!!
Nice job boys.
Good stuff.. Way to hustle OVM
Lol I wish I could throw ladders like that . Great job
Nice video
Tanks!
We're looking for 2 to test, them we'll add longer one as I'm sure it will work better then fiberglass pike &poles!
NY all steel roof hook from Firehook unlimited seem to be the real thing?
I know this is stupid but HE WALKED UNDER A LADDER! :o
More to come.
very nice
Progress!
lol thank you for your view
Damm nice job
Nice wind sound in the mic.
What is the length of the Hook the ovm va using? Where looking to purchase 2 for testing if we like then. Boucing between 6ft for outside work or 5ft so we can use it inside to.
Otherwise, great work.
Nice; we throw ladders for ourselves!
Man I got tired just watching the OVM. Ironman! Murphy's law of firefighting says that the fire will always be on the side of the street with the utility wires.
Hey brother quuck question? What's the editing software you use for your fire cam?? I cant find a good one.
He Sounded it with the hook
I use a 5ft personally. It all depends on your response area. We have standard 8ft ceilings and a lot condos so the 6ft is a tad too much inside (for the condos). If we were mostly older homes with 10ft ceilings I would have went with the 6ft. I would say one of each would be fine. Also be sure to buy a real NY hook and not the imitations out there.
Im not a firefighter but your job on your truck is to get the ladders and break windows? I just wanna know like your duty on your rig and the responsibilities of each guy on each truck- thanks, and your videos are awesome brotha!
Driver - Get there safely, throw ladders, secure utilites
is this a video of a fire or an exercise in ladder carrying?
What does OVM mean? Is it the same as ventilation? This is my favorite video because you are showing at least the majority of ones assignment. Hopefully i phrased that correctly.
"Outside Vent Man". primary duties include throwing ladders, horizontal ventilation, c-side forcible entry and vent enter search
Is there more to this?
What was up with that one guy at 7:55-ish?
Roof man... lonely job :(
why did the video stop it was just getting good
Neat
Give me 4 1/2 minutes, I will set 3 ladders.... BAD ASS !
How come the OVM set up all them ladders? Is that for egress? Incase shit hits the fan kinda deal?
I wanted to see the vent!!! lol
Would have been way better if you showed ventilation but still a great vid!!!
that's a lot of EMS
Your OVM is clearly an experienced, prepared and aggressive member. Tons of well-placed and well-acted initiative and thinking outside of the box. High quality work - that guy or girl is worth their weight in gold. Keep it up and stay safe.
Thank you Ian. Means alot!
Ian Tenney Totally agree instructor Tenny, I was in ITTFS Class 36 last year. Hoping to come back to ASAC next year. Beautiful Truck and Great Tactics from what I know. Stay safe sir!
+OneNineTruck highly agree with Ian, well experienced Ovm
I was going to say something about that but you said it perfectly, so I'll just tag on to your comment, if you don't mind. I know it's some years later but this video - and that OVM - are excellent! A lot of work for one person but they get the job done and do a great job!
No one wearing scba 😂😂😂😂 do they' have cancer now
