Glad you got one!! Everyone in the St. Louis plant group went WILD the day they restocked. I’ve had mine for probably 8 months and I love it so much! Everything I’ve put in it has thrived. I haven’t put a humidifier or fans in mine and the humidity stays at 80% and I’ve never had any fungal issues so I’m very grateful!
That’s so funny, I am feeling really lucky that I landed one then!! Haha
One of these cabinets is for sure on my list to get for my "sensitive" plants. I love watching these and seeing what everyone decides to do.

It fits perfectly in that space in the kitchen and a room that is probably the most used in a house so you get see it all the time!
Also for weather stripping & humidity you probably don’t need a humidifier! I used the clear weather stripping that has the flaps, then add a bunch of plants & if you have some in lecca put them in there because that will raise the humidity! Or you can even place some cups of water in but I just have the weather stripping, a bunch of plants & lecca plants & the humidity stays about 90 percent!
Ahhh yes!!!! The humidity is currently at 76 which I’m super happy with. Hopefully won’t need a humidifier then!

It looks awesome! I got a fabrikor ikea cabinet a few months ago and I'm so glad I did - it has been a game changer for my more fussy plants who need higher humidity, like calathea and even some of my more sensitive philodendrons. Hope you love yours, excited to hear an update down the line!!💕
Those doors would look perfect in a shade of ligh grayish green(as you see often in france or scandinavian countries)

To attach your lights use Neodymium Magnets. I have the same setup as you and it works perfectly! I started with sticky tape too and after a day or two they fell down.

I originally had a fabrikor with the pegboard but I also got a milsbo and decided to try wire grids (from Amazon) for that one and I like it so much more! The grids are less solid looking in the back so it feels more open and I like all of the different options for hanging items versus just the ikea ones for the pegboard.
That’s great to know! I’m choosing between the grid and pegboard. How did you hang the grid in the cabinet??
The greenhouse looks beautiful....and what a perfect spot for it! BTW.....we had an electrician install an electrical outlet in a spot where there wasn't one and it was not very expensive..you should check it out.

Also, many of the people I’ve seen with the cabinet say the high humidity causes the double sided tape to unstick, so just watch out for that before the lights fall onto your beautiful plants :) or risk it, that’s something I’d do lol

The trick to Ikea stuff is to open all of the hardware and look and ID each piece BEFORE you start to assemble and take each piece of the furniture out and check where the holes are etc. BEFORE you start!! Ask me how I know this!!! My son and I have developed a pretty good system of putting Ikea things together....

I'm excited you got one, I will one day, but need to do some planning first. I think I'd rather have a small humidifier and a tiny water fountain and just forget the weather stripping because I know I'd just get too frustrated with it. I love seeing how everyone does theirs for inspiration :)

To keep up humidity in mine I just put a couple little pots of moist sphag and that did the trick. I think I saw Crazy Plant Guy do that.

Becca, Great work! Your cabinet looks amazing! I would suggest you hire an electrician to get a power outlet installed on your wall. It could not be that difficult because you already have an outlet close by. Yes it is money, but the result would be so beneficial and would resolved all your electric issues. All the best :)
It looks amazing! nice spot for the cabinet. I also have an ikea greenhouse cabinet. The dark blue Fabrikör. I only have a grow light in it so far, but I also want to install a fan. For me it does not need a humidifier the humidity is around 80%

I have the detolf & I didn’t do the pegboard, I may one day, but I bought shelves off Amazon that are meant for the shower in all different sizes, then I stuck them all alone my cabinet where I wanted them & it works great! I do like the look of a pegboard so I may do that in the future

It looks great. I used suction toothbrush holders and baskets from Ikea and I spray painted them. I now have 5 cabinets🤪 but I just did one on my channel recently where I used Fabrikor cabinets. If you have time check it out. It was a lot less expensive than the peg board and I loved how it turned out.

Also I cannot stress this enough ... watch at least a couple of YT vids before putting it together. Drill the hole first so you dont shatter the glass.
Agreed with this ^!!!! Had a close call with the glass trying to cut the hole after it was assembled 😂

I have the pegboard in my Milsbo greenhouse and I think it's overrated! I like it and I use it, but if I did it again I wouldn't buy it. I would rather have gotten magnetic or suction shelves along the glass. I might get rid of the pegboard in the future.

It was easier to drill hole in bottom before glass and everything was in cabinet.
