This is the second time I watch The Colbert Questionert. Although all of the questions seem fun and light-hearted, you can actually get a glimpse of personality of the person who answers those questions. For example:
Q: Cat or dog?
A:
Cat = Most probably an indoor person and an introvert
Dog = Most probably an outdoor person and an extrovert
Like both = An animal lover. Kind and sympathetic
Don't like both = Ambitious & straight forward. Most probably has a successful career with a busy schedule. Probably rather impatient.
Colbert's writers came up with the answers, he's just reading them.
He didn't prepare shit. Those answers were written for him and handed to him about 30 seconds before this bit.

It's interesting how this interview went down obviously he is a beloved icon in history I mean have you seen dirty grandpa? but he is obviously in his twilight years and I felt like this should have been less 5 min fun and more of something idk serious and admirable because you don't know when his last moon will set and to have him on this platform for all of our eyes to see is something rare and valuable. It could have been fun and lighthearted whilst also being poetic and meaningful.
