There's so many delicious alternatives these days! I'm not vegan, or even vegetarian, but I am plant based, I still eat meat, but nowhere near as much as I used to, and it's not hard to cut down, I barely notice, I've found a really good mince alternative for my Meatloaf and Cottage Pie, even my circus loves them! I do want to find a nice chicken alternative for stir fries that's not soy based, haven't found one in New Zealand yet...
@@RebelAlliance42 it definitely is easy to cut out meat, haven't eaten any in about 5 years now. I just miss well prepared meat dishes like this occasionally. The US has a few good options of soy free vegan/vegetarian foux chicken, hopefully they start selling where you are soon, too!

every time i visit china with my family to see my mums parents, my grandmother always had the ingredients ready for me because i love to make a big plate of chicken😂 also the only knife that i use and that my mum uses is a cleaver and it’s honestly useful for everything

I haven't had good luck with Asian food since pandemic. Now because of you I can make my own! This meal was fantastic! I made enough for two days but my family ate it up in one day. Yum! I changed a couple of things like rice instead of pasta (husband don't eat pasta). Thanks for your recipes and entertainment!
This dish need to be cooked for about half an hour. By the time it’s done, there is hardly any alcohol left in the soup. It has all evaporated being at high temperature for so long.

You can buy non-alcoholic beer at some grocery stores now, it’s just for the flavour- that’s what I would recommend.
