Aprilia Caponord 1200 tuning with new map

Aprilia Caponord 1200 mapping tuning.
My caponord with K&N filter and GPR demper has now a new map.
In de video you will see what it does to the torque and HP.
The tuning is done bij Goedhart Motoren from Bodegraven.
I was the first with a Caponord. The map is from a Dorsoduro 1200.

Heerlijke sound zonder db killers, maar is wel lastiger met de nieuwe ontwikkelingen van akoustische flitspalen....

I own one for a year and I must say that it is an amazing bike. After selling my Ducati Diavel I never thought that I would fall in love again BUT I DID!.. Pro’s.. comfortable, fast enough, well equipped. Cons.. very responsive throttle but after tuning it’s allot better.

I still have the bike.
I'm still very pleased. The different map makes it buck less at low speed. Had few problems after I repaired it. Last is a leaking front fork seal. This has now been resolved.

I have a friend selling one of these I like the way it rides. I'm just afraid of buying something that has been discontinued. I can't find any real community for it and Aprilia seems to see it as a stepchild.

The block is the same as the dorsoduro 1200. Apart from the oil leakage, I have had no more problems. And that wasn't done properly before I bought it. I also looked to see if there were more people with this problem, but I didn't find them. But everything I needed was in stock at Aprilia. And you ride a motorcycle that you don't see much. I like that very much.

Wat was je totale vermogenswinst met de genoemde wijzigingen tov standaard?

Ik heb nu 112 Pk en 110 Nm op het achterwiel. De motor heeft standaard 125 pk en 116 Nm in het blok.
Er is weinig meer vermogen, maar hij rijd veel lekkerder. Het was haast niet mogelijk om in zijn derde versnelling 30 km te rijden.
Het is lastig met deze motor rustig te rijden. Ik had hiervoor een Tuono 1000R en die had dit ook. Bokken noemen ze dat. In de bergen met haarspeltbochten is dat lastig rijden. Dat is nu veel beter. Hij pakt lekkerder op en rijd dus smoother. En ze zeggen dat blok Pk's ten opzichten van achterwiel Pk's ongeveer een verlies is van 10 tot 12 pk. Dus in Pk's en Nm weinig winst of verlies.

@@apriliamycupofcoffee ik had het zgn bokken idd ook bij mijn tuono 1000R bij lagere snelheden (file rijden snelheden). De caponord is al veel beter. sinds mei 2021 in bezit.

Dat verschil zit hem in dat de geadverteerde 125 pk is gemeten aan de krukas. Deze dyno meer aan het wiel. De verliezen van de aandrijving kan je nog mee rekenen dan heb je heus 125-130 pk.

I'm not sure. But I think the same map as in an Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 For a motorcycle with K&N filter, no valve in the exhaust and an open exhaust.

Hi mein Freund, nur mal so zur Info, es gibt andere db Killer. Ich hatte die Variante mit den riesen Löchern vorne am ESD und am Ende den ganz kleinen, sieht aus wie eine Sceibe.
