Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Hey you should do a challenge where you build each other's vehicle then battle then you know the weakness of the others vehicle
But then you could sabotage it easily
Not if rules are put in place like is has to actually be drivable or flyable.
How about you have to use both your own and your opponents' vehicle.
And both players must know how to use each vehicle

How about for the next one, do planes, normal planes, but with EMPs, dynamite and no other weapons like in the last part of the video. And allow energy shields.

I’m saying that they probably didn’t do a ‘no duplicate part’ plane battle before they did a car version because scrapman had already made a ‘no duplicate part’ plane himself
You should try a battle where you have to build your vehicle without moving or deleting any blocks once they are placed
Video suggestion: Mix between this video and the max complexity, where you make a plane/car with exactly ONE of every single block in the game, (maybe except a few if every block is more than 700 complexity)
It might be interesting to try the power couplers with your space train
i forgot your channel name and have been trying to find it for so long eventually giving up, 3 years later and here it is in my recommended and i promise you can not fathom how happy i am

another idea just came to me after watching this.... instead of "no duplicate parts" in this way, how about a "no duplicate parts" across the people.
you two (or more) take turns picking parts, and the other person cant use the parts you picked.... like picking teams in school sport or whatever.
if one person picks, say, monster truck wheel.... they can use as many as they want, but the other cant use that wheel. pick any part until no parts can be picked (or until neither party cares to use whats left.) .... so one person could pick 2x4 blocks and the other cant use it, etc..... and you could even go as far as the weapons. if one side picks minigun, the other cant use it, etc, but it might be more fun to maintain the "weapon-based rounds" so leave them out of the options
This doesnt need to be fighty comp though, could be a race or challenge competition... maybe that old "king of the hill" competition

Hear me out, bipedal walker battle. Gyros allowed, but no gimbles and feet are the only forward propulsion
I watched this from Yzuei's perspective earlier. These vehicles were surprisingly functional for having no duplicate parts. I couldn't think of a new build contest idea for Yzuei's video, but I thought of this while I was watching this video: What about helicopters with no duplicate parts? I can't see it being possible to achieve truly level flight with any such build, but you might be able to build something that can compensate for what I think would be a necessarily spiraling flight path. If nothing else, you'll laugh a lot trying to build something functional, and we'll get to laugh with you. 😂

What if you had to make a vehicle and had to modify it to do different jobs? (e.g: race, container transport, battle)
*But* you have to switch vehicles in between the “mini games”, and you can only add to the vehicle, you can’t remove from it.
I’m not sure if you already have made a video about this, but it would be nice if you revisited some video ideas :D

Try building a creation with 1 of each part in the game, it's an awesome challenge, I even made a video about it the other day
You should do a battle but all pieces except for vital ones are decorative blocks

The EMP battle reminds me of 1v1 Sniping matches in CoD... x3 So intense!
Make a battle where you have to attach you weapons to a new power thingy making the recoil extremely bad
What about a blimp emp battle and each balloon is attached by a detachable block, so when you get hit by the emp, there is the chance of you losing your balloons. Would be fun since you never know if you're only going to lose one or if you'll lose all of them at once.
My favorite videos are the ones where you guys are clearly having fun and keep adding more rounds of combat!

Build land or water vehicle where you take turns selecting a part that must be used; allowing as many duplicate of that selected part; limit of 75 total parts; only the drivers seat can be individually selected; If one player reaches 75 parts used before the other; they must still select piece upon their turn in the selection process (possible mischief)
Perhaps a plane vs land vehicle competition, using power couplers to hang a "Hook" from the plane, to try and hook the vehicle off the ground, while the land vehicle player either attempts to hook up, or run away. (With a hoop or something to BE hooked on top of the vehicle)
Petition for Scrapman to do a battle where every round has two options or choices. ie. at the beginning you start with 10 blocks and 5 power cores. Then the next round you can either choose to add 5 more power cores or 10 more blocks. This could work with any type of vehicle. Also starting with so few blocks and cores adds more strategy.
Multiplayer idea: Battlebots with limited complexity, no guns or explosives, small arena, 1v1 battles:)

Scrapman, please stop using weight blocks, after your whole build is done, the weight increases so much, that the weight block only slows you. This can mostly be seen in your planes and helicopters, the weight blocks only help you fall from the sky.
When you turn right, the right rear wheel comes off the ground because the left rear wheel (the monster truck tire) is too big. I suspect the right rear tire is usually having problems getting traction. I think you should move the monster truck tire up one block.
I'd be interested in seeing a team build competition where you and your teammate make two separate vehicles without being able to see each other's, and have to connect them together for the fight. Sorta like a two-person Zord or something lol
Now try to build VTOLs with no duplicate blocks and dogfight, that should be funny 😂

can you build a supersonic jet which has two modes one where it flies fast and one where the jet flies slow and controllable

How about a sentry-gun challenge? A deployable creation that can shoot at a target in a defined area, without player input (if that works, it might be interesting trying it as a deployable weapons package from planes, spacecraft, boats, subs...)

These battles could involve various types of vessels, such as warships, frigates, or galleons.
For your space battleground the setting could over area with gravity and your objective is to blast them out of the skies or ram them into the gravitational pull "sinking" their ship.
can you make a skiper car: the roll is that you have to make a sniper that can hit more than 200 meter and the target is the turkeys that walk around the map
What if you did a segway or monowheel battle where all of the guns have to be far above the wheel(s), causing a lot of recoil?

Hey scrap! i have a video idea, try making a paraglider and pvp with yuezi or corndogs in the paragliders and as bonus round you can use the winners paraglider, it would be really cool!
cool battle idea you each get to bulid an vehicle with only 1 of each part and have to get 25 blocks and then have 3 battles each time 3 battles have passed in your scrap battle car you each add 25 blocks to the others car to help them in the next 3 battles

Build a creation where you have to double every part you plan on adding except the seat.....so 2 thrusters =4......4 wheels = 8......4 steering hinges = 8
I would love to see you using only plane parts for a road vehicle.
You could do a fight where you must choose 10or 15 different Blocks and then you can only use These 10 Blocks but you can use These ten Blocks Infinite. The only blocks that dont count are seat and weapon

A functional vehicle made only out of functional parts and power coupling and bubble shields and weapons the rules would be you have to include power coupling and bubble shields atleast once but when the opposing vehicle is destroyed the remaining vehicle gets a point

do a dogfight in space with the same rules as this video it would be lit or you can make a space ship on the space map but have the fight on one of the normal maps like danger zone or something
