- Made a video highlighting the exhaust on my 2019 Street Bob. The exhaust is made by Stealth Pipes, and I've had the pipes on for about a year. They're great pipes, check them out!

Clean street bob man, my friend picked up a 2020 so I was lucky enough to ride it a hand full of times and I’m sold
They’re fun bikes man, any one of my friends that’s had one loves them
Immediately sold on this review alone.
I'm glad! Stealth makes a great exhaust system.
Sweet exhaust. A little too loud for me. I appreciate the honest review.
What kind of muffler are you using ? Stealth pipe bomber ? Or reverse cone muffler
Yo I love the street bob and definitely cool what you've done to yours! I need to upgrade! Keep it up!
Thank you! It's totally worth it once you're done
Did you heat cycle that pipe?.why is the transmission so loud during shifting?
Beautiful bike!
Nice video
Thanks!
Do you know what the difference is between this and the bassani road rage 3 by any chance.??…
The RR3 is likely going to be quieter. I haven't owned one but on my friends bikes they sound a bit different.
Hey brother, love the pipe and one of the only vids on youtube for the m8!. Quick question, does it require a spacer for the mid controls? also, is that color tahitian teal?
No spacer needed, and it’s billiard blue!
@@JonsMotorcycles badass, there might be another vid of it on a 114 soon enough
@@IronGuardLegionnaire waiting on mine now... probably will make a video idk! It will be my first video on my bike if so!
What kind of muffler ?
Putting an Air Cleaner and full exhaust won’t void your Harley warranty? It’s just the tune that will void the factory warranty unless it’s a Harley Screamin Eagle tune? I don’t get it...
If you keep your stock stuff, you can put it back on before you take your bike in. If you tune it with an aftermarket tuner, it marks your ECU permanently and will void your warranty.
Wow. This has me suddenly changing my mind after I’ve decided to go with two brothers for my FXBB. To me, this sounds better than a TBR. What’re your thoughts? Great video!
I like them a lot better than the TBR, I've had buddies that have issues with TBRs leaking and breaking over time. This pipe has lasted almost 20,000 miles with no issues! I'd go stealth if I were you.
@@JonsMotorcycles thanks for the insight!
I met a guy with tbr exhaust on a 19 fxbb . He said 2 k on the tbr the end cap blew off .
Sounds dope n kilker.... i live in socal myself too n wondering do you ever get attention by Jonny law regarding noise Violation? It is terrible in my neck of the woods. Nice pipe though...
Never had any issues myself!
Are you still running it with the stock tune? I'm really wanting to get new pipes on my 2020 lowrider S, but don't want to void the warranty and also live in California. I thought my dealer said if I use the harley tuner i would be ok, but said i absolutely needed to tune it after. These sound and look great btw!!!
Still running on stock tune for the same reason as you. 20k miles and 2 years old no issues at all. The Harley tuner could help, but in my opinion it’s just a way to get you to spend more.
@@JonsMotorcycles How did you go about purchasing this exhaust in CA?
Do you know if that muffler bracket would interfere with the rear bung king frame slider pegs, or any other rear peg setups?
Not 100% sure about the bung king one but it doesn’t interfere with the H-D rear peg setup
They will still void your warranty if you have aftermarket parts and your engine. They can make the assumption that without their tuner your engine got messed up from the parts. So If I’m gonna put parts on it I’m gonna tune it with I want. If it’s something you’d want to do in shop take a trip to a shop in Arizona one of these things and get it dialed in. Stay safe and keep on riding ✌🏻
I kept the stock pipes just in case :D
Jon Howard lmao. It’s ok man, they would have to prove to you that that’s what caused it. Honestly most of the time they won’t.
How long did it take for your order from start to finish? I ordered the exact same set from Steve for my 2020 Fxlrs!! I'm super stoked to put then on when they arrive.
Mine was really quick because I lived close to where Stealth is located, I want to say it only took 3-5 days.
@@JonsMotorcycles I'm hoping to get mine soon! I can't wait did you wrap yours previously? The finish on your pipe looks a little weird.
@@JonsMotorcycles my 2020 fxlrs is soo damn quiet it's annoying... I've got a plex audio system and that's louder than my bike lol!
I never wrapped the pipe but I’ve also never cleaned it after 20k miles, mostly just road grime
@@JonsMotorcycles hell ya just start her and rip her up! That's the way to do it lol
Thank God... been looking for this video for weeks. Just ordered one and didn’t have much to go off of sound wise but they had a good rep. Did I hear you say you didn’t tune it yet?? So it’s stock map?
Yeah! No tune so far, I didn’t want to void the Harley warrantee with an aftermarket tuner. I’ve had friends use the Harley tuner and not have great results, so I tried running it without a tune and I didn’t have any problems. Been running the stock map for over 10k+ miles and no check engine lights or loud deceleration pops. Hope this helps!
Jon Howard Very helpful thank you! I was worried about voiding the warranty but more worried about getting ran over by some old lady cause she couldn’t hear me on my Prius sounding Harley lol thought the tune was absolutely necessary but maybe not! I appeciate the reply, ride safe.
@@JonsMotorcycles tuner is been what's holding me u on either mufflers or a 2-1 pipe. I have 2020 FXBB. DID any of your friends add the pro tuner also? I'd like to add air cleaner also but not if can't be tuned.
It really depends on who you get at Harley. I believe if you use the H-D brand tuner and auto tuner you should be ok, but I'd check with your local dealer.
How much heat does the pipe generate? Without heat shields is it noticeable or not really? Just bought a stealth pipe for my low rider s pretty stoked regardless!
I’ve honestly never felt the difference when riding, I think the heat shields are more for if you accidentally touch the pipe. But during riding I don’t feel the exhaust being hotter at all
@@JonsMotorcycles thanks man!!
@@brandonnulf7620 how do you like stealth on your FXLRS SO FAR?
Did you need new exhaust gaskets?
I didn’t need them, however if you’re already going through the work it’s worth putting new ones in. That’s what I did.
Hey bro, how long did it take for you to get the pipe? Ordered mine a week ago and still hasn't shipped yet.
I honestly don’t remember but it wasn’t too long, they’re good guys they’ll get the pipe out soon!
@@JonsMotorcycles thanks! I got ahold of them and they said 3 weeks🤯
@@bcelectricco the build time says 4 to 6 weeks.. it sucks I know but they're all made by hand! I just asked the same question I was curious if he got his earlier than that. I'm biting my nails now lol!
@@spoom937 finally got mine 8 weeks after ordering. Didn't have crush washers for o2 sensor reducers. Had to purchase off Amazon for about $6.
Where did you get your exhaust I got a 21 low rider s and I can’t seem to find anyone to ship to Cali plus I’m from Ventura county too 🤟🏽
just call stealth exhaust see what they can do for you.
Anyone know if this exhaust sounds different from the bassani RR3?
Are these louder than tbr
Raw finish or polished?? Thanks!
This is the raw version. The polished one looks like chrome and it looks so good!
Fuck that thing sounds sick. I just put the 2 into 1 tbr on mine. You should find someone to do a comparison with that and the tbr
I think I've got one friend with the TBR system on his bike. Most of my friends still run dynas so maybe I'll do an exhaust comparison for their bikes too.
Does the pipe come in a black finish?
I believe so!
@@JonsMotorcycles thats awesome man!! I found them. But are heat shields optional?
Are 2-1 loud compared to 2-2 exhausts?
Normally they’re not as loud, really depends on the length of the pipe. Stealth is loud because it’s a shorter pipe and so is royal T. Thunder headers are long but very loud as well
@@JonsMotorcycles should I do this or tbr shorty turnout ? I have stage 2 . Cam 😎🤔
I like the stealth pipes, the tbr pipes are three pieces and use springs to connect them, could lead to leaks!
You might as well tune it. You smoked the warranty with the pipe and intake.
That’s absolutely false. Harley just like any other vehicle manufacturer would have to prove that’s what caused a failure. My dealer told me and I quote “You can do whatever you want to this thing (My 2021 street bob) just don’t put a different brand tune on it because that’s a pretty easy way to loose warranty work even in a court room, Harley was just sued because of denying warranty work” now obviously whatever you replace on the bike with another brand won’t be warranted by Harley der. And you can even do the work yourself. That was a statement from the service manager @ Desert Wind Harley, Mesa AZ
I once put a Supertrapp 2 into 1 with open end cap on a bike but removed the ugly thing as it stiffled the exhaust gas flow......
I couldn't help but notice two things in your video; the first is that you don't blip the throttle on downshifting - You should as it helps the shift and hides that horrible 'clunk'; and the second is how much you have to twist the throttle to get the bike to accelerate.
My 2010 Streetbob was like that before I rebuilt it to 113 inch and changed to carburettor - now the bike has so much more power - 130+ bhp and torque - and I hardly ever use more than 1/3rd throttle. unless I am 'getting on it' ...
EFI just ruins the feel of a bike IMHO - but then I am in my 60's ... oh, and thanks for showing that power chart comparrison - my '06 XL1200R Sporty (with Hammerperf 1250 etc kit) has more power than that @ 87ftlbs and 97bhp ! ..... it's nice to know my Sporty is more powerful than an M8 - it leaves CVO twincams for dead..... hahaha, ride safe mate !
It's true, the carburetor bikes are much more responsive compared to the new ones. Also can't beat the exhaust smell and sound of those carbureted bikes! Ride safe
@@JonsMotorcycles My Dyna has S&S tapered mufflers that are almost straight through and the slide in the HSR48 carb rattles when it is closed..... exactly the same set up on my Sporty except that has a 45mm mikuni.
Go through those gears awfully quick can’t hear what it sounds like at peak performance
Awsome video! Subsribed to you! I also have a channel about my Harley! Come check it out when you have chances!!
