      This map is not of a creek in East Texas, this is a map of the Red River. The mark in the middle of the River marks where North is and a border between 2 countries. Rest easy

    The coahuiltecans were the most failed so the Spanish guessed they would be the most susceptible to free stuff for a change in religion. This explains the RGV en toto.
