Permanent Waves is my favorite Rush album! It was also the 1st record my dad wanted a copy of from my small collection at the time. He was a jazz/classical guy and a 30 year Army veteran. Moving Pictures tour was my 1st concert. Max Webster members were sick, so Rush played like 2 hours in OKC. The Myriad. Thank you! 🖖

I must say this is a step up from the usual content. I can only absorb so much information about Ratt , Nikki Six and Wasp before it starts to get dull

Moving Pictures was Rush’s “breakthrough” album??? 2112 was their breakthrough album that was released 5 years earlier.

2112 kept them in the game (and is a masterpiece)…. But MP took them to another level. Into the mainstream, right as MTV was taking off. (MP is another masterpiece).
