Κάστρο Ρειχιάς ή Καστράκι Αγίου Δημητρίου - Castle of Reichea
Ελάχιστες αναφορές υπάρχουν για το συγκεκριμένο κάστρο.
Είναι μάλλον της υστεροβυζαντινής περιόδου (περί τον 14ο αιώνα) όταν η περιοχή περιήλθε (μετά το 1260 και μέχρι την Οθωμανική κατάκτηση) στο δεσποτάτο του Μυστρά.
Δεσπόζει της πρόσβασης προς τους όρμους της Βληχάδας και Παλουγγέρι. Σκοπός του κάστρου ήταν να προστατεύει το λεκανοπέδιο της Ρειχιάς από θαλασσινές επιδρομές.
Η περιοχή ήταν πλούσια καθώς υπήρχαν εκεί αμπελώνεςν κατά την βυζαντινή και φράγκικη περίοδο όπου καλλιεργούνταν ποικιλίες που παρήγαγαν το θρυλικό Μονεμβάσιο οίνο Μαλβαζία.
Στο χώρο υπάρχει σκεπαστή στέρνα απο την εποχή που κατασκευάστηκε το φρούριο, που έχει επισκευαστεί (η στέρνα) και λειτουργεί μέχρι σήμερα, ενώ η ευρύτερη περιοχή είναι γεμάτη βυζαντινά πατητήρια.

There are few reports about this particular castle.
It is probably from the late Byzantine period (around the 14th century) when the region came (after 1260 and until the Ottoman conquest) to the despotate of Mystras.
It dominates the access to the bays of Vlichada and Palungeri. The purpose of the castle was to protect the Reichia basin from sea raids.
The area was rich as there were vineyards there during the Byzantine and Frankish periods where varieties were cultivated that produced the legendary Malvasia wine of Monemvasia.
In the area there is a covered cistern from the time the fortress was built, which has been repaired (the cistern) and is still in operation today, while the wider area is full of Byzantine winepresses.
