You didn’t need to take the fan off to remove the radiator and fan shroud. The fan shroud has a piece on the bottom that un clips with two plastic snap buckles. Makes it less of a haste to remove radiator with fan shroud.

Finally threw down on a set of parts someone was offloading cheap ($500 including an ECU), just need a crank pulley, AC Compressor, and to refill and plug the super, possibly one of the pulleys that is supposed to go on the pulley bridge (it has the end one, but I think it's missing the tensioner that goes in the middle). I haven't received all the parts to inspect myself, but I'm looking forward to the project, super just got a solid coupler put into it too (hence why it's empty, I assume they stripped the plug a bit getting it out). Your series on this build has totally got me into the idea that I can do this, but then again, I just spent the summer rebuilding the top and front ends of my motor and camming it out with a DIY port and polish and had to have a local exhaust shop do me up a true dual since I had to cut my old cat back to get the motor out and change the cats for high-flows.

So I had a fuel pump problem coupled with a starter problem. The first was a connector that wiggled loose. The 2nd wasn't a problem, just seems like when I tried starting it when it died it must have backlashed the system so bad the tensioner came loose. Anyways I blew up my old crank pulley with a pulley puller so screw it. The time is now.
Got everything pulled out, still waiting on getting the pulley and A.C. Compressor, but I'm ready to start rebuilding the top end as of tonight.

Can you use a 4x4 ECU in and a 2wd truck and the other way around? Or does a 4x4 Truck need the 4x4 ECU. I'm about to do this. Have all the parts but left the ECU at the junkyard so now i have to find another ECU. The one from the Junkyard was from a 2002 X 2wd and my truck is 2000 Frontier 4x4 V6. So, would my stock ECU on the 2000 Frontier 4x4 work with the new supercharger setup with Charger at stock settings. I.E. a charger with stock pulley? WOuld my stock ECU be capable of learning? I've looked at the pin layouts of the SC ECU vs a regular ECU and they're the same. Also, the ECU needs to be AT and not MT right since i have an AT.
