And why has this taken so long? As daw users, we shouldn't need plugings like scaler. that's already supposed to be an integrated given.

That’s a good question. It does seem like it would have been there awhile ago
do you know if any other DAW has it integrated?

😂 I get the point but if you’re new to music and production
learning to play will take a lot of time while your peers are using loops and chord generators and adding a few notes and drums. I used to think that way but as long as you’re making good music in the end
nobody will care how you made it. đŸ€·đŸœâ€â™‚ïž We (I assume you too) are from an old school era man this coming generation don’t value the same things.

Point is you will never earn the gratification, personal satisfaction and growth from learning a new skill that you can apply in other areas of life.
Of course it's a lifetime process and the benefits and rewards come from putting in the work as with in any other craft that requires skill.
Your peers aren't creatively writing and playing music. They are simply building puzzles with predefined Legos blocks which EVERYONE can do. It's not impressive and all sounds the same.
That's not making good music. It doesn't require skills. It doesn't help you understand what's going on. It will in fact piss off a group of people who are tired of noobs taking short cuts, thinking they are doing something cool.
To really stand out "doing music" going forward you have to be original, authentic and earn my respect.
Because we know exactly how it's made.
With a prompt, copy and paste.
It's exactly why music today is đŸ—‘ïž
I will however say that the chord and progression apps are a great way to learn WHAT to play.
Then the fun comes from the HOW to play and you will be better than every peer you have and they will all be jealous of what they don't have and even if you never earn a single dollar from music.
You will be filled with gifts, blessings and satisfied with the power you possess.
