Awesome tutorial! I think it would also be cool to see a detailed tutorial or a tips/tricks video on making those ground foils(I'm sure a lot of us would really benefit from it!). I even tried using the clone stamp tool in PS by myself but just can't nail the look too😕

Try to use the clone tool but I'm sure you can find the info online if you look at how to remove shadows!
