If he wasn’t a world-class fighter and why did he fight him, Avanesyan?! He held a belt before, and his record isn’t terrible, but it was OK for Crawford to fight him. Throwing shade on it because you beat them Avanesyan the past, Crawford? Why won’t you fight Ennis? Oh I forgot, “high risk, low reward.” Crawford got hit multiple times from Avanesyan also. Crawford also leashed Avanesyan for the entire fight and stayed on the roof and waited for counters.

Ennis had no respect for David's power. He stayed in front of him and in the pocket longer. So, of course, he took more shots. He wanted to punish him. Which he did! Possibly broke his jaw, nose, & ribs. He wanted to make a statement and finish him quicker and in a way TC didn't. I like both guys and think the matchup will be a lot better than people think.
Let’s be real, this is literally one of the two opponents on boots resume you can name without google. Going out there and just brawling ain’t making a statement, Bud did it almost effortlessly and still stopped him.

I’ve seen Boots fight multiple ways now. Yesterday David came to fight but Ennis broke him being less defensively sound because David had his damn guard up the whole time lol & it looked like Boots determined that buddy punches wasn’t going to seriously hurt him. I have to agree boots aint ready for Crawford. And im from philly and would love to see him win. But he needs to fight the stanonis's, the Virgil Ortiz's, etc. Get some step up fights and more experience. I feel he has the tools, he just has to tighten them up. Yup. they pissed all over Avenysian when Crawford fought him..I respect him for getting in the ring with Boots the Beast on short notice. He showed a lot of heart taking that fight with a limited training camp and fighting a round or 2 with a broken jaw. He did tag Boots but he didn't have the power needed to hurt him. The Ukraine fighter Karan also hit Boots whenever he engaged- which wasn't often cuz he was running a marathon. Boots was also a bit rusty but looked good.

I feel like Boots went in there hunting the KO that's why he was getting hit. Boots would fight Crawford differently. You fight based on the respect you have for your opponent sometimes. Boots went in there knowing it wasn't going the distance, stayed close and threw power shots. I'll use Canelo's fight against John Ryder as the example. Good video. David came into this fight completely under prepared and is obviously washed up. He just looked like he was there for a paycheck. That was not the same DA that Crawford fought. Boots was making HUGE mistakes last night and against Bud, those mistakes would get exposed.
