Mannn MJ was absolute beast!!!! This dude played the game as if he invented it.
Right!!!
I think he was even better than the guy who invented it.
@@jeremieletellier807 definitely
Heck yeah!
@@jeremieletellier807 the guy who invented it isn't even in the GOAT conversation
I never got into basketball. But I can watch Jordan highlights all day long
The movie was great. The documentary was great.
MJ is the only player worth watching every game even on regular season. He just keeps people in awe.
MJ played every game to entertain the crowd, he said it himself multiple times: "there was a chance someone in the crowd had made it to the game to see him play" so he gave them the best version of MJ every time he took the floor.
Bird was also a blast to watch, any game. Just the fact that he was out there talking more trash than any other player and backing it up. The flashy passes, the shooting, the post up game.
Kobe was that guy too
Young folk just don't realize that Jordan was a human highlight reel! ... *every. single. game.*
This is what he did to make basketball an international sport, because you *had* to tune in because you just *knew* you were going to see something phenomenal during the game!
That's what I emphasize too in the debates about the GOAT is that Jordan would pull off multiple plays EVERY NIGHT which would be a typical NBA hoopers best bucket of their career.
MJ is the only player to have the opposing home team oh and awe for him. I even seen the bench of opposing teams stand up and be in awe in other games. I've even seen players ask Jordan for a autograph. Especially when he was playing for the Dream Team in Barcelona. The legend Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
NO 1 LIKE HIM JESUS IN SNEAKERS
@@user-gv8ii9ft6x no he wasn't Jesus in sneakers. There's only one Jesus. I know the analogy your trying to make. But as a believer I had to respond.

That 1 minute and 23 seconds was better than anyone else career highlights and that was only 1 game ... MJ = GOAT
I said the same thing. And it was just a normal game for this man.
Sorry but give me WILT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@larryzigler6812yeah I like Wilt too. I like to approach it as all time 5 tho.
PG Magic Johnson
SG Michael Jordan
SF Larry Bird
PF Bill Russell
Ce Wilt Chamberlain
Who you got?
@@larryzigler6812 What's with Wilt other than his height? Andrew Bynum moved better than him! What, they made rule so Wilt could no longer dominate? What rule? 3 second offense in the paint? Wasn't that rule also applied to Jordan, yet Jordan dominated? Wilt was wilt by name, especially during playoffs. Enough with generational fanaticism, let's get real here.
During the Jordan era, the company I was working for had Bulls season tickets. I was lucky enough to attend numerous home games with those tickets. There are great players but Jordan had a killer instinct in him that would take over a game -- he would will himself and his team to winning the game. That's what makes him the GOAT.
Many believe this to be the best version of MJ and what a perfect basketball player looks like, and I fully agree with it.
Pure movement, no wasted energy, straight to the bucket and the first one back on defense. He made is coach's just easy.
Yes, pre retirement Jordan was the best. I argue the 92 team was the best Bulls team too. You had a younger Jordan, young Pippen and the supporting cast was great. Horace Grant was a better overall player than Rodman. Rodman was a beast on defense and the boards but did nothing on offense. Grant would get you a double double every game and play solid defense.
Prime for prime Larry Bird was just as good when it came to getting the job done. Jordans moves were of course prettier, but Bird was just as effective.
Clean block at the end
Looked like he got all ball.
All ball
All ball.
No bias.
Can't blame the ref for blowing the whistle, it looks like a clear foul, then you see the replay... He got a lot of ball looks like the contact was incidental which means no foul.
I just finished typing same thing . Absolutely clean .
Legend. The greatest tragedy is all this was recorded before 4K.
Even before HD.
1992 Jordan was at the height of his physical prime, just lethal
Yo I Definitely Agree With You Dawg
I ain’t mad at that statement. I say ‘93 though, it’s like he got all infinity stones. He was unbeatable. We was fortunate to witness greatness like that
I used to think that also then the more 80s games I watched I think it's a tie, mj was floating on air in the 80s but the early 90s added strength was magic to watch
@@foreverflylove I totally agree.
It is an age thing, this is generally the time when human males reach their physical peak.
Early 90s Jordan was an absolute monster.
Miss this guy so much! Such beautiful artistic athletisicism. No other player comes close!
nostalgia....you are MJ blind. No other player come close to that athleticism? are you kidding? i can name 20 who can do everything mike did athletically and more.
@@jeremycrowley8628 dude no athlete consistently did what MJ did. Sure you can show me a dunk here and there but this guy was doing this in games. Like every night! There is a reason no other athlete has a shoe brand like Jordan. Think!!!
@@jeremycrowley8628 name me those athletes and put the number of rings next to their names.. get outta here

@@mm.f262 by your comments, bill russel is the greatest athlete to ever live. What about sam jones, satch sanders, robert horry? All way more rings than mike. Any other brilliant ideas about how to measure athleticism?
His passing is very underrated.... And his defense alone is enough for one to be a NBA regular player. People say he can't do well if he plays today are so idiotic
Nothing about him is underrated, and each of his skills are deservedly always among the best.
If he played today he'd average 50 points a game because today's players rarely play solid defense.
@@JESUS-SAVES_1975. Fact is MJ has been retired for over 2 decades and theyre still bringing up his name and debating if Lebron is better. When MJ was coming up they were measuring him up to Bird and Magic. Yeah they stopped that debate after the first 3 peat. The real question is who is dominating todays game like MJ did? The answer is nobody!
He would shoot a lot more 3s today. He was a decent 3 point shooter but nobody attempted that many back then. Guys like Curry attempt more 3s alone then most teams did back then.
Not just his passing. His handles underrated too. So smooth and functional.
A measure of an athlete's greatness is when everyone in the entire world knows your name -- regardless whether they are sports fans or not. Even your great grandmother knew who MJ was, even if she had never seen a basketball game in her life. While there have been many great professional basketball athletes over the decades, it is pretty clear that only Michael Jordan achieved that level of recognition.
Would add Michael Schumacher to this. Even the grandma from the smallest village in the Balkans knew who this legend of Formula 1 was.
No it was the DR..Julius Erving!! He saved the NBA..look up the history & his tapes...& LBJ is a mix of magic, bird & Mike..right out of high school.
Yep. This is the argument I make. Our foreign exchange student's great aunt twice removed knew who Michael Jordan was.
Facts.
Unbelievable this is all one game
It’s just the way he played the game
@@masterofdisaster9194 I loved growing up watching him play. That Pacers 1998 ECF series was so brutal as a Bulls fan haha. I was only 13 but game 4 was the first time i felt like killing someone and that target was Reggie Miller.

I like LeBron, but have NEVER seen him play one game like this! MJ did this every night!!
I love Lebron and been watching since his high school game was on ESPN. But he never dominated and mastered the game quite like the level MJ did in my opinion. Thats why they downplay MJs competition, its an excuse tailor made for Lebron. Bottom line is MJ was head and shoulders above all time greats like Malone, Ewing, and Barkley..all HoF that never got a ring because of MJ. Cant say that about Lebrons competition like Curry, Kawhi, KD...they all ate.
@@brucewayne7831 Another issue with LeBron is he has lost six times in the NBA Finals, whereas Jordan never lost in the NBA Finals.
Lebron James- 6 Finals losses/4 NBA Championships
Michael Jordan- 0 Finals losses/6 NBA Championships
I swear, how can they say any other player is better than this guy. Just look at his versatility when he attacks the hoop. No one else has that level of finesse.
I don't even bother with those people. MJ was not only the greatest b-ball player, he was obviously the greatest professional athlete of all time. Nobody dominated a sport like he dominated hoops.

the other guy has 40k points, 21 year career and isn't slowing down. Pulled the biggest upset in NBA Finals history despite not having a Hall of Fame coach. He is loved by his former team mates and has one wife for the last two decades. He built a school for the underprivileged. The best thing we should all do is stop comparing and just appreciate every great player
@@solascriptura146The other guy [Lebron]
1. Has been accused of PED usage hence the "not slowing down"
2. Was assisted by Kyrie Irving to pull the upset in NBA finals history [after whining to the NBA leadership to suspend Draymond Green btw]
3. Is so egotistical, Hall of fame coaches DON'T want to coach him
4. Is actually NOT liked by all his former team-mates as they know he's an egotistical narcissist & they'll get blamed for his failures.
5. Cheats on his wife of the last 20 years with regularity.
He & his legion of brainwashed sheep started the comparisons & keep them goin & BTW wasn't nobody checking on his 40K points considering Karl Malone had 36,374 career points for years [2nd only to Kareem Abdul Jabar at the time] & no one even puts Mr. Malone in their top 10 players debate...so scoring 40K points in 21 years [where virtually half of those are devoid of defense] means nothing...

One of the 10 greatest athletes to ever play a professional sport. I was so lucky to grow up when the NBA was Jordan, Magic, Bird, Isaiah, Moses Malone, Olajuwon, Dr J. Truly the golden era.
The best athlete to play, ever.
@@jamesesparks - he was the greatest basketball player ever, and the GOAT of GOATS (no sports GOAT is agreed upon as much bball is with Jordan) but "best athlete?" I think Bo Jackson is superior there. That guy was a race horse as strong as he was fast
@@ikigai47 As crazy as it sounds, Gretzky is even more agreed upon as the true GOAT of his sport. There is no modern hockey player that comes even within a shadow of challenging The Great One. Meanwhile, you have a bunch of young people that actually think Lebron is better than MJ.
@@manuelper - Not true, there are many that insist Mario Lemieux is the hockey GOAT. While Gretzky led the league in scoring for 10 seasons to Mario's 6, Mario had a higher goals scored per game avg which fuels the debate

When the best players of the time (also of all time) like Magic and Bird say that a guy is far above everyone else or that he was a god disguised as a player, it's because that guy was phenomenal and transcended the game.
Who else is held in equal regard by their peers in sport?
When they polled modern players a couple years back and asked them who the GOAT was, the vast majority still said Jordan lol.
Wilt
I was around for this phenomenon while it was happening... and as you see in this one game he has a season worth of highlights for todays games. and he did this EVERY NIGHT for 82 games
He literally did it all
MJ, there is no other. He was feared by all. Even when most said it, he never claimed greatness. Made others better and when needed took the blame like a real leader should. The NBA misses this man.
I cant believe how the media is teying ro mislead the youth with regards to Michael Jordan. The league aint been the same since and theyre still trying to match the feeling when Jordan played
We never get enough of this
His activity on both end was unmatched, true agressive warrior!
That alone separates him from LeBron in the goat debate. Defense
What a beast! People try comparing other people to MJ but nobody really compares people to LJ. MJ was the high water mark. He was the best player on offense and defense nearly every night. Played all out and was so clutch.
they cant compare anyone to LeBron because there has never been a player like LeBron. Hands down. Todays game, there are players who are better athletes and do more incredible things than Michael ever did. Many more in fact. The game moves on, players throughout the league are better athletes. @@jeremycrowley8628Wrong on multiple points. Grant Hill was LJ before LJ.
There are players in todays game that are better athletes? Name one! He had a 48 vertical. MJ ran a 4.39 as a sophomore in college. He got more athletic once in the league.
More incredible than MJ? Really name 2 players in the modern era who are 6'6" that can double clutch and dunk from the ft line.
You are so provably wrong and ignorant it's hilarious. You know who disagrees with you? Modern players like KD who says MJ IS THE BEST EVER. Shaq played against both and LJ never scored 64 on him. MJ did.
Ray Allen (Who was a teammate of LJ) even he says MJ was better because "he had no flaws in his game."
Ron Artist played with an aging MJ, against Kobe and LJ and said MJ was the best. He played against MJ when he was coming back to play for the Wizards, he broke two of MJ's ribs and said MJ would avg 50 in todays game because players are so soft, you can't hand check, and because of defensive 3 seconds.
Reggie Miller "MJ's the best!'
Berkeley "MJ is the best!'
Magic "Mj is the best!"
In fact an anonymous survey of 117 NBA players voted on who they think is the GOAT. 73% said MJ, LJ only got 11% of the vote.
But I suppose you think you know more about basketball than the pros who played against them?
MJ never lost in the Olympics. LJ did with an all NBA team. MJ 10 scoring titles. LJ 1. LJ lost to the Mavs, a worse team than his in the finals. MJ never lost in the finals to a worse team. MJ has more MVPs. More championships. MJ never lost in the Finals, never went 7 games. MJ won a DPOY lJ never did.
Four times in NBA history has a player won the scoring title, scored the most in the playoffs, won reg season MVP, playoff MVP and won the finals. Those players are MJ, MJ, MJ, and MJ. LJ never did that once.
Only three players in history have ever had 100 blocks and 200 steals in a season. Pippen Olajuwon and MJ. MJ did it twice, and averaged 35 and 37 ppg in those seasons.
MJ was more clutch and there really is no debate.
Two things: Intelligence and dedication !!! Worthy of admiration . Thank Michael !
Agree. He was such a hard worker off the court to get most of his talent
One thing about Jordan is that he never cheated the fans. This man played 15 seasons and played all 82 games 9 times, including when he was 40. Je played 81, 80 (twice) and 79 games the rest except for the injury shortened second season, and his comeback from retirement season. He was there every night. And load managed a game. And he put on a show no matter eho he played against.
Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler always looked like that were floating when they were in the air.
I can't see how the GOAT debate is even a debate. MJ plays with so much more style and finesse.
style and finesse are measures of greatness? than Allen Iverson should be in the Goat talk right?
@@jeremycrowley8628 Allen Iverson should most definitely be included among the greatest of all time. That man revolutionized the game and had amazing athleticism for his size. It's a shame that the NBA did not value his contributions and tried to destroy his reputation because he didn't fit the leagues ideal image of what a player should be.
MJ had style.. that's why we still talk about him. Or is it because he was the best player pre 2000's? There is a generational divide in this debate. MJ LBJ one on one first to 21.. LBJ would win by double digits. I don't care about your short shorts. I care about the fact MJ didn't "really" even make the playoffs 9 times. NINE TIMES. That is not good. And he was dismantled by a dude that is barely 6ft tall! MJ was great.. MJ is top 3 because of his style.. the Greatest Of All Time = the individual who owned everyone, every time, every year. Kobe was probably as good as MJ just missing that white boy era basketball. Imagine if LBJ played in the late 80's.. bye bye (or at least he would make the playoffs.. right?)

When basketball was played by men. No such thing as a hard foul and Jordan thrived in that environment. I feel lucky to have lived at a time when he was playing even though i hated he would beat my team.
What kind of hatred is this haha.. Men? That four acres you purchased for seven raspberries really put some hair on your chest.
MJ is the best guard ever with his back to the basket in the post. He could do anything, no matter how well the defense played against him. That fadeaway was just butter.
That's my guy. Jordan #23!!! It get chills watching clips like this. I grew up watching Jordan and the rest of the living legends of today.
What separates him from everyone else is that he did all this in one game and then some, every time.
I’m going to keep saying it, when we watch MJ we are watching futuristic moves
what? which ones? ill wait
Kids today will see one guy do one of the things Jordan did and another guy do a different think that he did. They watch ESPN and think “Jordan wasn’t special. I see guys that can do what he could do”. What they don’t realize is that nobody has ever been able to to all of the things that Jordan could do, except Jordan. Plus, he did those things every night. It wasn’t a fluke. Dude never disappointed.
This was during my senior year of high school… quality of footage, compared to the day, makes it seem even older.
No wonder why kids don’t appreciate him… just like how I couldn’t appreciate athletes from the 1950s
Greatest off all time MJ 23🫡
He was awesome to watch even if it was on the TV it was still mesmerising how effortlessly he could score, pass, steal, block and rebound, always be number 1 on my All-time Greatest athletes in all sports.

A very efficient scorer. None of that Kyrie and Harden thousand dribbles to score.
That no look hook layup was sick AF!!! Being able to watch those games in person must’ve been awesome. Just the atmosphere he created around him drew everyone in, even fans of opposing teams. You could root for your team, but it would be impossible not to be blown away by what he could do….to your team…..unfortunately lol
