I like this approch. I hope the police gets more psycological checks so, if they are too stressed they know they can be helped without the risk of being judged or to lose their job (obviously there are exceptions). On top of this more has to be done socially so to deminish conflicts in the first place. Still, good to know that positive steps are taken to have a healthier outcome.
Its just that this is fairy world talk i do not know one swiss native who trusts the police from children to grand grand parents
I have never come across a police officer that was not in shape in my 18 years of living in Switzerland, that's all you need to know
We set high standards for the police, being in shape isn't one of them, it's a given :)
much better than usa
There are also asshole cops Not everything is a Pony Hof
What an important topic. In the German speaking part of Switzerland I don't see this development in the police force. I would say the French speaking part of Switzerland is far ahead on this topic. I hope they will train also with their German speaking colleagues and work together on this immensly important topic. Especially, the psychological work on the police force themselves is key. So they can develope themselves with empathy get aware of pre-judgments and social issues and learn also to protect their own mental health. It's for sure a tough job. But it is highly problematic that not everyone manages the balance between power and doing the right thing. I admire those who fight the good fight and want to do this job with grace common sense and as humanly as possible. It starts with normalizing to take care of your own mental health in the work place. Everyone should be able to have a therapist. Just the way we have a family doctor.
German ones are still in ww2 but at least they can access all our personal devices now without a judge saying yes. just from a whim so that they can leak all our private stuff online because they can't even handle their own cyber security.
Thank you for the subtitles.
Young copes pumped up on a power . Dopamine rush .
In Switzerland like in the rest of the world, populism, neo fascists and racism is more and more present these last 20 years. The local and national police also has to deal with violent agents and racist repression.
The main problem is at recruitment because working in the police is not seen as very attractive for most people. The police then has to educate recruits who mostly look for action and are frustrated because the job mainly is social work.
The power and respect they're given combined to the fact that they are almost untouchable and frustrated gives a dangerous cocktail... I mostly don't trust other officers than proximity police and feel less safe crossing a policeman then a stranger in the street.
In my life, they were the most humiliating people I had to face, who disrespected me, forced me several times for body search withou explanations, and arrested friends of mine with clearly unadapted strength and violence assuming they agreed to collaborate
I second your view point.
"Sur les pas de Jung" 😊
Wieso verschwinden die likes nach 30min?
Just hearing the music for returds ruined it instantly...
Remember Dortmund
Better I don't comment...
Thats nicr but not in lausanne where they are super racist wirh anyone thats not swiss..to the point of beating them just because they are jogging or much less
Ahahahahahaha yeah right
Sure buddy
I mean its understandable? Ofc non swiss people seem more suspicious.

L’urbanisation a massivement augmenté.
Liar.. crime as being slow down all over Europe..you have that perception because of internet..numbers say opposite
I am Swiss and our police is a joke, but that is because of the law. if a men stalks a woman they cannot do anything and they just say we need to wait that he hits you, and even if he does so they give a ridiculous sentence, the same is for driving. 30 km/h more than the limit and you are a criminal and you go to jail but someone that steals a lot of money they do a few days and is ok. Switzerland is not like you all think about. one of the most expensive country where the normal peaple are very poor and they dont talk about it, peaple are angry and they are continuing to make peaple more poor and make us fight each other while the rich become more richer, we have something called referendum where we could in theory request a change in the law with voting but more than one time they did not do what we requested and that for me says democracy is dead here.
so much wrong info in your comment
@@labakadegachalife5246 tell me
@@labakadegachalife5246 Like what ? Sounds pretty accurate to me
@@sidlerm1 you're a welsch that's why you're agreeing
What he says is right, but he doesn't give the right comparisons at the beginning. (when you drive 30km/h faster, you may kill somebody. When you simply steal something, most often, you only steal - except then if it is with violence)
The rest is correct
Lachhaft!
they think police get calld all the time, but they are the police. of course they feel that way
Austria and Switzer have real esoterik problem.. They are doomed.
Cults in general are a problem here, Jehovah's Witnesses, Scientology hare Krishna, etc. And people are susceptible to falling for such weirdos because many are mentally unstable. Psychiatrists are, so to speak, recruitment centers for these cults.
