I wish you had mentioned that you could loot seeds from legion herbs that would allow you to grow the herb after planting the seed in fertile soil. Also, legion herbs would have extra spawns when picked to help you herb more. As example: foxflour would spawn a fox that would run around a bit and if you ran after it you would loot extra flowers it dripped.
Forgot to mention the shredder mount can be used to gather herbs while staying mounted
You forgot one type of resource node. Archaelogy finds, which are an interactable object in the world that provides an item.
Yeah, I was about to comment this. Hiru for some reason dislikes archaeology and acts like it doesn't exist.
You missed Nightmare Seed and Netherbloom buffs both from TBC :)
When you realize Hirumaredx is TheDuelLogs ! Love your content on both channels man. Keep it up
I honestly enjoy the gathering professions. As someone who plays for fun, its always nice to see a herb or ore or even skinnable mob while im out just questing and having fun. I have several alts who just gather materials, cause its a fun little side hobby
My main has been an Herbalist/Alchemist since Vanilla. I remember running around zones for weeks to gather enough herbs to make potions/elixirs for raids back in the day.
Also removed from the game Arthas' tears herb, from Eastern Plaguelands!
Plaguebloom and Wintersbite were changed in Cata to Sorrowmoss and Dragon's Teeth.
Great video. Just wanted to add the Darkmoon Firewater item added in 6.2.0, the Enchant Gloves - Herbalism/Advanced Herbalism/Gatherer enchants added in 3.0.1 and the subsequent glove enchants Legion Herbalism from 7.0.3, Kul Tiran/Zandalari Herbalism from 8.0.1 and Shadowlands Gathering from 9.0.1 to the collective knowledge base.
"what's the nerdiest thing I could possibly be watching on CZcams right now?"
_Hochenblume_ is a pseudo-German word which would roughly translate to _flower of the heights._ In the German version of WoW it is called _Hochblume_ with the same meaning. It is pronounced [ˈhoːχn̩bluːmə].
Thank you for posting ❤
Lifegiving seed does buff the player, it restores both HP and mana. It's basically an herbalist's food+drink item they get for free.
The on use haste effect was super good for some classes that lined up with 2 min cooldowns and liked haste, like prot and ret paladin
Ah lifeblood. Back in MOP I had a twinked out Herald of the Titans mage that I maxed out herbalism on. The effect maxed out lifeblood had on her was beyond bloodlust I tell you. Definitely put her at the top of the meter when I got in for a Heralds kill.
Unsure why you specified that only leather wearing classes could wear leather gloves and then right after stated because "X was cloth, anyone could wear them" when so many more classes could use the gloves
Reminds me of the old days, gathering herb as a NE Druid near the river of Uldum in Cata, and then smacking head with Tauren Druid, locking eyes, for that single node of Whiptail 😂
Gas clouds were harvested not with goggles but with a vaccuum that also showed the node on the mini map
I’m pretty sure you forgot to include nightmare seeds from TBC
i love your Videos, tanks for them
Always picked herbalism. Exploring and picking flowers was the best part of WoW to me.
*Fails to grab flower*
ITS SITTING RIGHT THERE, WHAT THE HECK DO YOU MEAN?!?!
I am hyped for the Skinning video❤
I cannot believe! I thought I was the only one that watched your videos to sleep xDD
Looking at that new crafting UI makes we wanna go back to play WoW just to experience it
Mentions skinning becoming nodes on skinnable bodies but not elemental enemies that become mining nodes when they die.
Perfect timing for me playing hardcore and learning how easy everything is now
new hiru video :D
You forgot Arthas' Tears... it also got removed with Cataclysm
And they changed Wintersbite to Dragon's Teeth and Plaguebloom to Sorrowmoss
Not to mention Crimson Lotus! It never actually got used for anything, and it was turned into vendor trash early in vanilla, but still.
Love your contents.. from Nagaland
2:13 is why that happens?? I've been so curious about that for years
also gotta have the skinning nodes they added in shadowlands in maldraxxas
So comfy
you forgot a node, the skinable growths in maldraxxus.
Reagents in Dragonflight only have 3 ranks...
And you forget another tool that you can put in you next video... Gnomish Army Knife +10 to each one (Herb, Mining and Skinning)
Someone please count how often he says 'herb' or 'herbs' because the sound of the word is driving me insane D:
12:29 lmao the wow token gets it’s own rarity? (I know like nothing about it)
I love herbalism in WOTLK

"Thanks for planting yourself down to watch this"
I see what you did there, Hiru. XD

First
Yooooo you missed Nightmare seeds and Netherbloom buffs. CMON
I’ve always found herbalism and fishing just so peaceful, always my go to professions
Fishing in real life? Naaah
Fishing in Azeroth? *Equips Shiny Bauble*
@@Macroman595 isn’t that the truth! 😂
@@harrisoncleverley633 I'd always learn fishing and cooking then find a guide where I can level both up at the same time.
