#loungemusic #noirjazz #jazzmusic - Hudba
LA in 1948. Driving at dusk, letting the sun glance off your windshield, as you head to your favorite watering hole to salve the heartbreak of a lost love. You know it won’t bring her back, but you know it will let you wallow in the pain, the loss, and, ultimately, the honoring of her. She was the one. Maybe somewhere in the next life, if you’re lucky, you cross paths and things will be different. But it was not to be in this life. You’ll always have the memories of what was, but you know that you’ll never have that ever again and it’s a bittersweet feeling: sad that it’s gone but happy that you had it at all….
Actually, it was O.C. in '85, but whatever...
... Timeless is just that.
I've watched thousands of videos on how to cope with loneliness and other issues, but none of them have helped as much as this playlist.
I knew I was in trouble the moment she walked in, all smoke and shadows, with a smile that could charm a devil into confession.
she sat next to me; looking at me as if i was made out of clear glass. her charming, yet fake smile was shown to me; time itself held it’s breath as our eyes met. she didn’t say a word, yet her face told a story. both her and me knew what she meant to this case.
Here's to all of us who read this with Frank Drebin's voice 😊
She came in while the band was playing. More curves than a Grand Prix circuit. She glided over to my table. She sat down next to me, gazed at me with crystal eyes, and breathed: "Hello." A whirlwind of memories dizzied my mind. For a moment I did not know what to say.
I snapped out of my reverie and said: "He'll just froze over "
"You got a light?" She asked, in her smoky voice. It was the sound I'd only heard in my dreams. I knew she had me at that very moment. And I also knew that she'd be my undoing.
The rain slicked the streets like a dirty promise, and as I stepped out of my office, the neon lights of the city reflected in the puddles, casting long shadows that whispered secrets only the night could keep.
Beat it toots. These streets ain't what they used to be...
every f'ing noir video...
Was that a Toots Thielemans reference ? 😁

Yeah. Some of these comments are pretty annoying. But let people have fun I guess
@@doggycatalan yeah I sound like an old guy with a lawn rn
Literally me... when carrying my snub-nose 38!
That is not dark jazz..that is very light, love and peacefull jazz...jazz couldn't be dark...thank you for posting it 🙏🎵😮❤️
I am awfully with you. Jazz can't be dark and the sounds we are listening here aren't dark. Therefor, they are deep... If for him "deep" means "dark". So, i am agree...
I LOVE THESE COMMENTS LMAO, I FEEL LIKE I JUST WALKED INTO AN ACTUAL BAR FROM BACK THEN (I'm the excited time traveler)
😂 ikr
The Internet at its best😂😂😂
fairly corny as far as youtube comments go...

LOL YES but really
"It's a tough town, kid... We all have our demons to fight... Sometimes we beat, em.... Too often, they beat us...."
damn my mind went wild on those words... I want to draw that scene
YIIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I heavily relate to this!
Is that from a movie?
which one?
The neighbors. The neighbors inside is a tougher neighbors better say away from it, and all the while u just cant without any sorts of distraction.
One day you will stop talking, you will stop thinking... this is when you will hear life speaking; she has been speaking all this time while you were behaving like the deer who thought that the forest was born yesterday. Her words will be so beautiful but an affront to your old age; if only youth could hear her speak...
Beautiful.. where is this from
Wowzers ❤
It seems the message was meant for me....
I love this. It really takes me back to the days my husband and I were dating. We always had the jazz. ❤ That was 1978-79 . Now, 45 years later, we still have the love and the jazz. Thanks for the memories. I’m going to put this on later tonight and make some new memories. 🌹
Forget it jake its Chinatown
3 hours in a fancy restaurant dating a beautiful classy woman. That's how it feels listening to this great jazz compilation.
Only if the man is also handsome & classy. 😎
But then you discover that not only does she have hair sticking out of her nose but her weenie is bigger than yours.
That´s true! But belongs this music not more the time thereafter?
And after 3 hours, she friendzoned you. Again.
Another rainy night in downtown Chicago, it’d been a hell of a week-some dame came waltzing in my office in distress. A tall drink of water and a gaze that hit me like a glass of whiskey. Sheesh, toots, this town might just do us both in.
I leaned back in my creaky office chair, the soft patter of rain against the window providing a steady rhythm to the chaos unfolding in my mind. Another dame in distress, another case that promised trouble on the horizon. But there was something about her, something that stirred a long-forgotten ache deep within me.
"Alright, sweetheart," I said, reaching for the bottle of bourbon nestled in the bottom drawer of my desk. "Let's hear what's got you all worked up."
She perched on the edge of my desk, the hem of her dress riding dangerously high as she crossed her legs. "It's my husband," she began, her voice trembling with fear and desperation. "He's disappeared, vanished into thin air without a trace."
I took a swig of bourbon, letting the fiery liquid burn away the doubts and reservations that threatened to cloud my judgment. "And what makes you think I can help you find him?"
She leaned in closer, her breath warm against my cheek. "Because you're the best in the business, aren't you, detective? The one they call when all other hope is lost."
I couldn't help but smirk at her flattery, even as I knew it was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. But there was something about her, something that tugged at the edges of my conscience and refused to let go.
"Alright, doll," I said, stubbing out my cigarette in the overflowing ashtray on my desk. "You've got yourself a deal. But let's get one thing straight-I don't come cheap, and I don't play nice with the big shots in this town."
She flashed me a smile that was equal parts charm and danger, her eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "Don't worry, detective," she said, her voice low and sultry. "I can be very... persuasive when I want to be."
And with that, she rose from my desk, her silhouette a shadow against the backdrop of the rain-soaked city beyond. As she slipped out into the night, I couldn't shake the feeling that this case was going to be trouble, the kind that had a way of sticking to your skin long after the rain had stopped falling. But in a town like Chicago, trouble was just another name for business as usual.....
😅😅
Beneath the fractured glow of a flickering streetlamp, the rain-drenched pavement shimmered like liquid obsidian, casting long, shadowy reflections of the solitary figures who drifted through the night, lost in the city's melancholy embrace.
i look out into the city scape after a long day of work, i take my almost empty flask and take a sip. i need to refill on my way to Barbra's...
wow. this reminds me of the memory i never had.
Makes you want to drive the streets at night, playing this music and quoting Jack Kerouac .;-)
Wow...these comments are just as jazzy.....the words are as smooth and mellow as the keys on the piano. You can picture yourself in a smoky room full of hats and evening gowns sitting at a table with a glass of wine Falling in love with the saxophone. This is like that❤
Classical makes you drop your drink and lifts you to the heavens;
Jazz sits down with you and pours you a second glass.
I love both so much, but it's Jazz I'm married to. In sickness or in health.
Spoken like a true aficionado....🚬
Oh yes…I couldn’t have said it better “🫡salute.” Nothing reminds the soul like some good jazz and a little time.
Smoother than silk. darker than my coffee. Cheers
Reading this realized me I havent got my daily coffee intake. Ty
now THIS is the jazz ive been looking for i love all jazz but dark jazz just takes me to that place
Amen 🙏🏾
And I will meet you there.
this is not dark jazz. this is cool jazz. dark jazz is much more like ambient music. The kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble is a good place to start listening to that too. both cool, but different vibes.
Edit: also check out Bohren and Der Club Of Gore
I love this music. It’s an “end of the day” type of music. The bar is sparse. Reflections are in full effect and the bourbon is supreme…
I find it uplifting not "depression" filled
Oh man, sold by the first track!! Sitting in the dark with this on my system is bliss 👌
Makes me wanna have a scotch and a smoke while reflecting on the good, the bad, and the ugly of life.
Perfectty said. 👍
❤
Jazz so smooth it could tame a velociraptor.😎
^This.
Jazz be the kind of music ahead of its time, it ain't never bound to go extinct.
When a Velociraptor is only as tall as the hip height of a 5'3 person.... They not so big. They pack a punch as a group lol
"Listen here, in life, if you go out of line, people will bully you back into submission. Don't let them take away your spunk, kid! As you can see the patrons in this bar, they all have their own struggles, just like you do. But unlike those people, you have the mindset required to think outside the box, at least that's my opinion of you after we played that game of Go just an hour ago. Trust me when I say this, you will succeed, even if your rivals say you will fall. Take my words as they are."
❤
If you listen to that kind of music, I appreciate your musical taste
This is better to play on a rainy day, head leaning against the window as you watch the rain kiss the earth and a glass of your prefered liqour as your mind wonders what is, what was and what it will be tomorrow
It was nearly closing time when she walked in. I ordered a double. She came up and asked if I was buyin’.
I asked what she was sellin’?
I audibly laughed out loud
Same 😂
that was great 🤣

Love this, thank you! ❤
this is the perfect mix between melancholy and relaxation and brings a strange calm to my soul, great playlist
He walked the lonely, midnight boulevard just because no one and nothing would be there just the lights and the occasional car. The old foreigner's cafe would be open just to welcome him as long as he would make the walk, the long one he was used to.
Mine is about a hooker
Another day, another time, you will realized how much you took for granted by not slowing down for moments at a time.
Life moves fast. We dont control whats around us but we can control the moments we choose to sit down, reflect and cherish what has passed, what is now and what will soon take place.
You dont need much to be happy...just a positive perception on your life.
Find your resolve before what burdens you, consumes you.
Bro, that hitted instantly in my soul! Calmed me down and set me a mood of contemplation. This is high soul food quality.
Здорово! Дремать и бухать, водка, сигареты, ночь и джаззз!
"You seem tired Mister Detective, how about some Champagne for your worries...on the house, of course."
Thank you for bringing back Dark jazz/ Noir again to our life we need it ! kindly keep them coming ❤
That first song is popular. This is the third noir jazz video I've clicked on that had it as the first song. It is a good'n

Спокойной ночи - крепыши, виски вместо молока, сигару и любимую женщину! Покой и нега!
He walked into the bar, cocked his hat and looked at me. His eyes were the type of deep blue that reminded you of warm water. He was cute … in a sort of Christopher Walken sort of way. But looking at him, I just knew that he would be the kind of trouble I always found myself in …
Once the Jazz is on, it's too late son, you're already chained to the devil in disguise, all you can do is stay still and be charmed
This is my favorite type of Jazz!
Instant 👍👍
Extra thanks for posting the artists and songs.
Exelente MUSICA....que categoría de MUSICA...!!!!!
Calibrating a numerical model while listening to this music is just fine.

This music is absolutely incredible
Introspective..of perfect perfection
Okay. For the people who likes to imagine certain scenarios(including me-). Check this out.
You're in New York City, probably around 1875 or 1984. Beautiful lights and places to enjoy and explore, pretty women and charming men all around. You're inside a bar, sitting by the counter and talking to the bartender. A pretty lady with a beautiful dress with feathers in her hair and a feathered boa is around her. A jazz band played with her singing to compliment her voice, and everyone is happy. You enjoy the show with a cold glass of bourbon to set the mood. You were pleased with the scenery and the company around you. This was going to be a night to remember.
The clothing you're using makes it more akin to 1920-50
This helped me with anxiety this morning, thank you so much!
This is so relaxing and inspiring. Real music. Played really well.
This is very Arnold from Hey, Arnold! ...

TY 👍 nice mix, can't wait for nightfall to experience it as a total vibe 💗🌌
Trying to drown myself I was halfway down this whisky bottle slowly sinking. Then she walked in her long figure presented a lifeline I didn't know I needed. She sat next to me and looked at me with her smokey eyes and I immediately started to swim back to the surface just to see them hoping she would say a word any word that would bring me ashore to this god forsaken place with a hope that her hand would be there to pull me out of the water before I drowned.
Where is this from? Or did you actually go through this?

Fantastic list here. Thanks!
i'm gonna play modded arkham knight as spider noir now thanks
Finally. Something that reminds me of the dope vibe of Pandemic Studios' The Saboteur.
Magnifique
“Cold night, wet, dreary, the kind that makes a fella belly up at his favorite haunt with a cup of joe and couple fingers of bourbon. Charlie is tapping at the ivory keys while the brothers blow the brass and play a suite fitting the hole-in-the-wall joint, the kinda tunes where men will stare hard into the wall as they nurse their libations and reflect on lost loves, broken hearts and regrets.
Smoke hung like a fog in the dim bar, undisturbed by the ceiling fan and cast in an orange glow, broken only by the blue green neon flashing in the fogged window by the door. No tellin what time it is, and no need for it, not here. You come to Ricky’s to lose yourself, in the hooch, the jazz, and the heartache.”

I sat at the bar trying to listen to whatever the dame was sayin, but all I could hear was my old lady sayin I’d never find another like her, she was right ya know, why do I even bother? “Bar tender, another double.”
