    4:19, whole team behind disc
    4:30, Vert EZO
    6:04, really loving Kurono's cuts (Japan #6)
    7:50, Australia EZO
10:20, lost opportunity for Aus. Kichikawa can't sky. Aussie D should've got that one
    11:45, Japan zone D
    12:10, siiiick
    12:37, that's not a Japanese huck. Shaaaame
16:14, Really messy EZO. Jams it in with a push pass.
17:45, much cleaner EZO. (Another angle at 18:12)
19:09, Cleanest, smoothest, flattest half-pivot backhand break ever
19:51, EZO. Clean lefty inside break for a goal. What synchronization from thrower and receiver. They move at the same time.
    24:43, Oouuuuuch.
26:15, Kurono cuts deep again (another angle at 27:41)
    26:56, Japan EZO
32:08, great cut and great example of how to not overthrow in a power position
35:25, Japan zone D. Heavy pressure and Aus can't keep possession for more than 2 throws!
37:25, why you should keep your cuts more straight and not zig zaggy. He changes direction as the throw goes up, but the thrower calculated based on the previous couple steps, so he has to change back, and that means the disc is just a little out of reach, and he drops it.
39:50, Japan EZO, notice how the handler clears into the open side after the reset. This opens up the break throw to the break side. Sometimes you don't want to clog the break side
    42:40, *Second half*
--> Aus zone D, even at the endzone
    43:00, whole team behind disc
    45:00, Japan zone D
47:28, Kurono so fast, last back Aussie D covers the under and gets roasted
    50:04, handler strike
53:12, quick score in the mess after a turn. Why not mark flat until everyone has a check?
54:55, this goal feels like a trademark Japanese play
56:51, Aus EZO. (I like how receiver is able to call for the inside break shot by just pointing at 57:14)
1:00:25, Aus set play almost works. (Another angle at 1:00:55). Vert stack. 1 gets disc on breakside, stack clears over, 4 cuts deep.
1:04:25, very effective Aus endzone zone D. Very patient Japan
    1:07:22, Damn. Acrobatic af
1:08:40, Odd 5 cutter ho stack Aussie pull play
    Handler movement
    Breakside resets:
    15:54
    15:58, failed
    19:06, odd reset positioning
19:19, struggles with the break reset due to poor cutting
    22:56,
    42:56
1:01:11, reset positioned too far backfield
    1:01:54,
    Open Side
    16:14, Shut down
23:18, Open side give go to the backfield
23:44, Open side give go to the backfield
24:25, leading throw and over defender, unusual
    24:38,
    30:49, backfield
    31:35, Open side upline
31:43, Open side give go to the backfield
    37:11, some options shut down
    39:50,
48:58, backfield (also give go not taken)
49:06, backfield (also give go not taken)
    49:15, 45 degree reset positioning
49:20, reset to a handler pushing upfield
    53:07, failed reset (upwind?)
    56:57, backfield
58:55, an example of where not to cut after resetting. Would've been better for Kurono to just clear to the breakside. The whole play would've developed the same minus the poach attempt if so.
1:01:42, openside upline, but bad camera coverage...
    1:02:10

Japanese guys may be short, but the art of Ninjitsu was founded in Japan in ancient times. If they can kill with ninja starts, they can Frisbee it like a bad ass

I hate the Australian goal off of the Japanese defender because the defender was on the ground huddling up to protect himself from the giant Australian and his cleats for instance. If he was still watching the play, he could've whacked the disc off himself. I dunno. Good heads up by the Aussie's though.

I just remembered I've seen this game on the WFDF streaming link. It gets very painful for Australia. I feel for them now. They came out very strong. They try to rally their spirits but I think they just get buried by a point landslide for Japan.

32:10 Japan gets a break to come back to on serve and the whole team surges onto the field. I'm rooting for Japan, but, of course, I wanna see best play win.

35:30 Japan comes down hard on D, and Australia quickly frustrated? sends a hammer right to a Japanese player, intended to go much higher? Japan surges onto the field again!

Hard to tell what stack the Japanese team is using half the time

Because it's about time that ultimate players realize that stack aren't needed! Here 's where its at : www.reddit.com/r/HiveUltimate/
Furthermore the commentators often praise Matsuno for putting the disc where the defense has no chance of making a play for it. They do it rightly so but they don't notice that the fact Matsuno pivots inwards after a catch is the main reason why the mark seems so helpless against him.
