"Clocks" Musical Tesla Coils + Robot Drums

- Clocks played on two 21KW musical Tesla coils accompanied by a full 16 peace robotic drum kit. This was in preparation for the WWT (Western Winter Teslathon)

Okay, I've seen quite a few Tesla-coil song covers, but this tops just about every one of them. Not only is Clocks one of my favorite songs, but the sheer amount of work getting the coils and the robot drum kit in sync, is impressive, all by itself.

I've got three questions, first: How many notes can one coil play on it's own?
second: What was the difficulty/cost of one of the coils?
and third: What is the power draw on both of those things? I know that a tesla coil is just a resonating amplifier, but still, that seems like a lot of voltage flowing out of those things...

What's the current draw on a Tesla coil?
I'm years late to all of y'alls questions but here we go anyways:
Tesla Coils can usually only play 1 note on it's own. They use square waves to modulate the frequency, and square waves cannot carry the necessary information to play 2 notes.
Eric Goodchild has some insanely nice coils. A smaller/cheaper coil costs a few hundred dollars, I'd be shocked if these were under $1k
Standard Tesla Coils run off of AC Mains, and are drawing 120VRMSX15A = ~2kW continuously. The capacitor bank and driver circuit pulses this power, so the circuitry is usually built to withstand pulses of 50kW for a few microseconds. The output can be well over 500kV.
Somewhere, Eric mentioned these coils DO NOT run off of standard mains, I believe they actually run off of a high-power outlet like what your dryer uses. These outlets can supply 120VRMSX30A = ~4kW.

Hey Eric, I need to know what allows these coils to play music together, as a duet. Is there a special piece that plugs into the music source? where both coils can be plugged in? Additionally, these coils each play a very specific part of the duet, this had to be planned out. Can you show and explain to us the set up and how every part works from the wall outlet to the Top load? That would be really helpful.

There really is no difference between these and a regular coil. The music input is just an amplified sound signal that is used to turn the arc on and off at audio frequencies.
for every possibility there's a universe that it happened in. Have trouble deciding what to eat for breakfast today/ Or what shirt to wear? Well in some other different universe, you chose the opposite one is basically what I'm saying. There's nothing that's "broken" if there are infinite universes.
umm have you heard of the scientific theory of alternate dimensions? its probably a different name but if it is true, then there would be atleast one dimension that earth is steampunk. And one where it is illegal to dance.

Watch PBS idea Channels video on Tesla... Though not truly free energy but it would be possible to send energy over the whole globe wirelessly using a big enough tesla coil at a certain frequency though there are some risks by doing that. Well I won't spoil the whole video.

Well. This is the second comment correcting me on what was supposed to be an obvious joke...guess I'd better think twice about what I post next time. Static electricity is a joke in the winter, so I thought that I'd make a joke out of it by insinuating that a Tesla coil was just static electricity. Point A: Steam Punk isn't a real thing.
Point B: Edison and Tesla weren't the only contributing factors to the age of electricity.
Point C: Steam power is a very inefficient and crude energy source. There's a reason cars and trains now use various forms of combustible liquids instead of steam power.
