  • Suffering from brake line failure and severe underbody rust, it is time to strip down my toy. The components will be used on the 1992 metro gti conversion, so it is not the end!

    That's funny; I commented on this vid 4 years ago saying I wanted one of these, and just bought one a few days ago. I've wanted one since they first came out.

    I feel for you. I am facing similar problems with my turbo ms2 Lancer.. now I decided to go the hard way.. redid all the hard lines, and trying to get rid of the rust. Let me see if I can get it back on the road (950kg/180whp 😁)

    IM using a Garrett t3/t4 50 trim and full spool around 5500rpm. 15psi 301hp. a good turbo with great spool is gtx2871r

    Sorry about your car, have you had the chance to look at the turbo yet?
    I was thinking twin turbo on my v6 Vortec with a mercruiser MPFI intake but only 5 or 6 psi. In my reading, Diesel to gasoline turbo with any heat issues with the veins sticking. enlightened me. I was quite impress how well it worked for you.

    any dual engine gti coming? 4 cyl in front and 3 cyl in the back wheels?

      knightrider1545 no, just a compound turbo engine..h beams etc...slow project as I am in nurse practitioner school so time is limited

      knightrider1545 gt2256v..variable nozzle..the 13c was ok but not good overall
