NEW LIGHTNING LANE EXPLAINED | GENIE+ IS NO MORE | DISNEY WORLD

You’ve asked for it and Disney listened, Genie+ is going away with the introduction of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass.
It’s essentially Genie+ and Fastpass+ had a baby.
We excited to have the ability to pay for Lightning Lane and pick 3 Multi Pass Rides and 2 Single Pass rides before we arrive to Walt Disney World.
Staying at a Disney Resort, Swan and Dolphin or Shades of Green allows you to access reservations 7 days out from your reservation. Everyone else can book 3 days out.
This effect will take place July 24!
While both Walt Disney World and DisneyLand will get the Lightning Lane only Walt Disney World will see the bulk of these changes where as DisneyLand will stay similar to the current Genie+.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass will have 2 categories. You pick 1 from category 1 and 2 from category 2 or you could pick 3 from
Category 2.
Lightning Lane Single Pass is like the current Individual Lightning Lane but you’ll be able to pick 2 of these.
Once you scan into the parks and use your first pass you’ll be able to book your next one.
The pricing will vary by day just like Genie+ does.
