This mix actually reminds me of deafheaven (especially their most recent album). I like it a lot. It has more consonant melodies which are lacking in a lot of other music I listen to, while not lacking intensity, so this is nice.

This comment is funny. Because it LITERALLY is not real breakcore. This is ambient jungle. Which has nothing to do with how good the mix is, great sounds, just incorrectly labelled.
I know lots of people comment on modern breakcore mixes (which I love, by the way) to say "this isn't breakcore", but this really, really, really isn't breakcore. Not in the old school breakcore sense or the new "sad anime breakcore" sense. Yeah there is some modern breakcore in the tracklist, but I'm listening to this while working and all I'm hearing is straight up, middle of the road ambient jungle/drum and bass and nothing else. I like it, but don't call it breakcore (and sorry to end up being one of those people who say "don't call it breakcore")
